Great place and great desk folks. Unfortunately, the hotel did not have any ice machines working and I needed to ice my knee a lot due to a replacement of three months earlier. So I had to improvise a lot. But the front desk did give me some ice as best they could.

Check in was fast and smooth, despite us arriving late into the evening. Our room was overall clean. Carpet had some bad stains between the beds and have seen better days. Bathroom, specifically the bath tub could use a renovation. Linen on beds were clean and beds were comfortable. I like that the room had a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast hours end by 9am, so there is no sleeping in. The breakfast was good, egg white omlette, sausage rounds, seasoned breakfast potatoes. Oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, baked mini muffins, bread and bagels. Or you could make your own mini waffles or large waffles at a station. Lots to choose from. The area was clean and kept well supplied by the kitchen staff. There was a pool, but we never used it. Did see other families with little ones enjoying it. Also we are a family of 4… but rooms are always set up with towels for 3 people. When you book a room, you ALWAYS have to list how many people are staying. It would be nice if the room was stocked with supplies for ALL 4. So we did have to trek back down to the lobby to ask for an extra shower towel set, which is annoying, when you know we are 4 guests. Overall, we were comfortable for the night and would stay here again.

I emailed them to cancel my booking, but did not receive a response. They sure did charge my card on file though. Super scammy hotel, I would not trust them again.

As no fault of the hotel there was a power outage in the early morning. There backup generators were not efficient as they did not have enough power. Elevators were not working. No hot water. All the lamps were out. Otherwise it was a very nice property.

If you're commuting to the city by train, be ready for a hike up a hill, but its a nice hike. Safe quiet town. Nice hotel and staff.

The room was very spacious along with the bathroom, tons of counter space and room for luggage. Beds were really comfortable. The shades were kinda weird, they couldn’t completely close. The breakfast was good.
