My main complaint is the bathroom in the king room. The door is huge (for handicap access?) so it has to be open all the way or closed to do anything in the bathroom. There was no fan so had to leave the door open when showering. The toilet seat was so low that it was difficult to use. I’m 5’10” and had to use the countertop to help me up. Microwave was next to the ice machine in a vestibule by the elevator. Pillows were so shmooshy that I brought my own in. Horrible for side sleepers. Lamps needed to be replaced, somehow rusty? Staff was congenial, hot breakfast was mediocre, typical Hampton Inn fare. The hotel is built into the side of a steep hill so I don’t recommend it for people with disabilities or lots of luggage. There’s a long ramp up to the lobby if you’re looking for one, otherwise several steps up. Parking is on 4 levels of terraced lot and fills up. This was my 3rd Hampton Inn this week and my least favorite.

Staff were great. Plenty of free parking available although it's on quite steep slopes. We were visiting Sleepy Holllow and this hotel is ideally located. Breakfast was fine. The only downsides were that the furniture and decor in the room were quite worn and in need of a refresh and that the fridge was missing entirely.

Solo traveler one one-night stay with dog: felt safe, comfortable leaving my car, places to walk dog (thought $75 pet fee, more than half my stay, was VERY high). In general, everything in the room/ building was dated, but usable and fairly well kept. Staff was very kind, helpful, friendly. Clean room, one of the pillows had a funny smell. The toilet was weird with flushing/didn't flush at first.
