very nice hotel, it woild have been nice if the other other elevator was working only one was and there was no sign saying it did not work for 3 days so people didnt know and I would tell them if they were waiting, needs a sign not working

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience at the Hampton Inn Marlborough/Boston was very disappointing. On two separate nights, a large group of kids arrived late in the evening. There was constant noise, yelling in the hallways, and even kids knocking on doors well past midnight. The worst part is that hotel staff were fully aware of the situation and did nothing to control it. Guests should be able to expect a quiet, restful stay—especially at this price point—but instead it felt more like a dormitory. If you value sleep and professionalism, I’d recommend looking elsewhere until this location takes guest comfort more seriously

Front desk people were polite and helpful. Check in/out was a breeze. Parking is a bit tight. Outside renovations made the stay a little inconvenient. Room was on 5th floor. Elevator was quick. Room was ok but dated. Carpets need a cleaning. Bathroom had no hand soap but front desk was able to provide. Bed was comfy, but pillows were not. AC worked great. Small refrigerator in room and microwave is a plus. Breakfast was ok.

Communication among staff seemed poor. I checked in for three nights through Expedia. The front desk clerk only put me in as reserved for one night and when we came back the next day our door key would not work and had to get that sorted out. Talked to manager about this and she gave me a small discount on one more night stay which we needed. She did give us "go" bags as we left early last morning to catch our flight but bagels in each bag were moldy and we through them out. Property needs some updating. Sinks in bathroom don't have stopper for shaving and bathroom doesn't have exhaust fan. Breakfast foods which should have been hot were not kept hot in keepers.
