Un séjour presque parfait
Publié le 6 avr. 2016 sur HotelsBeen coming to this hotel for over forty years. Lots of hotel chain proprietors in the past - good ideas from new Emmerson Hotels, few glitches in the changeover! Restaurant improved with local dishes but breakfast too expensive at £15 per head - full English or not! Spa and pool greatly improved, loved the outside jacuzzi - very impressive for Bolton! Spa staff and Reception staff polite, smiley and welcoming! Special mention for th chambermaid staff, who left a complete change of towels, tea tray supplies, bathroom products for our room when we left the 'do not disturb' sign on the door! Never seen but was completely surprised! Will definitely return - thanks for a lovely stay! (ps: I have my own bed and breakfast business from my home in France!)

Joli cadre, mais chambres vétustes

Mais les chambres sont vétustes, pas digne d'un Mercure.
Il n'y avait qu'une personne à notre arrivée et notre départ, donc attente un peu désagréable.

They built houses around the last drop village where there used tobe fields, my stay the last drop village, was very relaxing staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was really tasty and hot. Loved my room very comfy bed. Will be coming back again

Business trip.
Room was tired and carpets needed a vacuum.
Breakfast was good but lots of staff just hovering around.
Overall I would say it’s okay but I would pick somewhere else next time.
