The room was comfortable and clean and actually we’ve stayed in this exact room on our last trip and we’re happy to get it again. The staff here is exceptional. Always professional, eager to please and professional in how they treat their guests and each other. We’d like to give a special shout out to Robyn who was the young woman we saw most often during our four day stay. She is an asset to the Hampton Inn Majestic Theater location.

Our family loved staying here. The location is fantastic, the staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The room was clean and modern with plenty of charging ports. The bathroom had plenty of places to hang towels and shelves and cubbies to accommodate everyone's toiletries. Actual liquid hand soap by the sink! Why isn't this in EVERY hotel room? I mostly liked the fact that the hotel was an older building with only a handful of rooms per floor. You do have to rely on the elevators a lot, and they can barely handle the traffic during peak times. And if one goes out, good luck with that. I'm not really sure what the hotel could do about that though. You're kind of limited in that respect.

Was informed when we arrived they did not have their valet parking service, so I had to park our car blocks away after checking in at 9pm and driving 6+ hours, then walk several blocks from the off site garage back to the hotel. Only had 2 working elevators during our stay that hold 5 adults maximum. So going down from 7-9am was very inconvenient as by the time the elevators arrived on our floor, it was already full. Will opt to staying at another hotel the next time we need to stay in Downtown Chicago.

Staff was very friendly at checkin/out. Very fast to respond with the rollaway bed, extra linens, and extra half & half at breakfast. The waffles smelled amazing but with only 2 waffle makers and a full house I didn't wait in line. Entire area of property that we utilized was clean. This location is so close to walk to everything, it made our Chicago trip pleasant.
