The Square is conveniently located On Radhuisplatsen. It is clean and modern Nothing historic of Copenhagen. Spaces are small. Lobby overflows with lines of people waiting for roms or something. Luggage is stacked all over the lobby. Not looking like a 3-4 star hotel. Pleasant bell staff. Desk clerks dismissive. Only morning staff had nice attitude.
Three Elevators serve the six floors of rooms. Some long walks to rooms. Updated decor through out. Apple motif including fresh apples and pears on front lobby desk. Free ice water while waiting. Waiting is what we did in this hotel lobby. Ice available for asking at the bar in lobby. Free wifi.
Rooms are updated, small with simple amenities. Wall bottles of soaps. Our"upgraded" from superior twin room was about 186 sq ft. with a fridge, water heater, AC, full bath, drop down table which blocks the entrance when up, desk chair and two seater sofa. Small space. Twin beds were narrower than on cruise ship. Room felt tight after a cruise.
No USB ports or power converters in hotel."Go buy one at the 7-Elerven next door". Not a 4 star hotel.
Breakfast as upcharge was pleasant on upper floor(6) . Lots of cheese and local breads. Eggs and cooked meats not warm in their pans, not juices but juice drinks ( flavored waters). few sweet breads, , cereals, yogurts,
High tech coffee machine delivered weak coffee.
Would not stay at The Square at this price again as better options nearby .including Scandic Palace.

Luggage in the lobby is of course wired. We are sorry if you were not satisfied with your free upgrade, you are always welcome to upgrade to a higher room category. One of the desk clerks was very friendly and helpful. The other was not. That was the only criticism I have. Otherwise I was pleased. The location of this hotel is terrific for sightseeing.

The Square was a perfect hotel to come and visit our daughter while she is studying in Copenhagen! I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to visit Copenhagen for the first time.
