I had a bad experience. The place smelled terrible, the bedsheets were torn and dirty, and there was dirt and dust even under the bed. The bed made me feel itchy, and so did the sofa. There was no good service, and the cleanliness was almost non-existent. Even their office was old and dirty, and the windows were dirty and unprotected, as were the curtains. I do not recommend going there.

Bien en général mais les moustiquaires de toutes les fenêtres seraient vraiment dûs à être changés. Ça peut paraître curieux comme commentaire, mais puisqu’il n’y a pas d’air climatisé, il est primordiale de pouvoir ouvrir les fenêtres pour faire aéré sans que pleins d’insecte entrent à l’intérieur

Great place for the family

Manage your expectations. These are cabins, it’s a short season and the nightly rate is up to 50% less than most. It’s not a 4 or 5 star hotel. But it’s fun, great for the kids, you can have a campfire at your cabin or there is a main area. Good WiFi and you can cook your own food.

The chalets were presumably at one point quite nice but are severely run down. The paint is peeling outside and it feels like the chalets will fall down at any moment. Our chalet smelt like an ash trayreally badly , I didn’t like my children breathing it in. We opened all the windows but then peeling paint and dust was over the beds as the windows open inwards. The kitchen had lots of equipment such as coffee maker, toaster, microwave but no space to do anything! The chalets urgently need some tlc. The beds were clean. The hand soap smelled lovely. The staff were nice.

Was okay- when I booked I didn’t know there was a fee for an extra person. I was honest and said two travellers but we shared a bed, so not sure why I was charged $60. I booked this because it was $80 cheaper than everywhere else, but after the fees and taxes I could’ve stayed somewhere a little more comfortable and more conveniently located.

Such a friendly place. Cabins were old but clean. There was an old smoke smell from the walls but it wasn’t so bad you couldn’t sleep. Th lady at the front desk was so kind and helpful and made the stay.

Views and close proximity to Canmore a plus. Cabins need upgrades, electrical was sketchy and flickered in and out the whole stay. A little effort into fixing and securing the screens on the windows would go along way. It looks like they were just thrown on the windows. If you know you have an upcoming rental, it’s only common sense and good business that you make sure it is clean and all bedding has been opened and checked, and fresh linens. There were bugs in our sheets( got told “ because the sofa bed hadn’t been opened in a while!!?”) The kitchen unit looked like it was from the 60’s and did not seem safe to use, could not even open oven. Tiny fridge freezer needed a defrost big time!! Fresh brand new towels should be waiting for your guests, not old ones from your house. Deadbolt did not lock on front door and was covered by ductape? The small fan left for our use was covered in dust. So pay attention to these things, as they are super important for your business to thrive and to attract future guests!! I am thankful that we had a roof over our head, ( some cabins had new ones, ours did not!) and the memories made! Upgrades and kind, considerate customer service should take this place into a bright future.
