8/10 Good

The location was convenient for appointments at MD Anderson. The property served our purpose but some of the listed in-home amenities weren't as abundant as the description states. The view onto the patio area was very pretty and listening to the water feature in the courtyard was nice. We did not get a chance to use the apartment complex's amenities, so I can't review them. The pots/pans/dishes could use a refresh. The following is shared as information that you should be aware of (and comfortable with) before booking the property. The check-in process is more complicated than most and if you're not tech-savy, I would caution you against staying here as you will receive numerous emails/text instructions plus you need to download an app to constantly access doors and amenities at the property. If I wouldn't have been there to assist my parents, they never would have figured out how to utilize everything needed to retrieve the keys and then access the property. The space was nice but if there are more than two adults, you will either sleep on a single-high air mattress or the 5' couch (not a pullout sleeper). You should also be aware that there is quite a bit of walking between the garage and the room (and a couple of stairs) which isn't normally an issue unless you have a disability, are recovering from surgery, or just can't walk far. Also, even though there is 'no smoking' in the building, on most days the hallways stank like weed which was not pleasant.
