It was overall a great stay although I got a different room than what I reserved. The staff was pleasant enough that it didn't even matter.

The layout of this hotel is strange due to the parking situation (if you self-park, you have to go up to sets of old escalators to the lobby) but it is close to large office buildings so I get that. I was checking in at the same time as a large school group so it was a bit chaotic but I got the keys to the first room. When I opened the door, I was met with the smell of either strong mold or pot...either way, it was disgusting so I went back to the lobby for a new room. No problem, was given a different room that thankfully, did not have the smell. Pros: Staff was friendly, the free water and cookie, the room was spacious and even with the huge number of school groups, quiet. Although the room was very dusty, it seemed otherwise clean. Cons: VERY dingy...needs serious updating. Peeling paint, stained floors and furniture. Almost everything was outdated. Kind of depressing really. Also, expensive parking ($30 per day per vehicle).

Great hotel! I wish I knew when I got there, if you take the escalator downstairs, there is another area with a food court and hair salons if needed. Amazing!

Lobby is very nice. Food available to order but not we didn’t eat anything there. Beds were comfortable. Loved the shower, great spray-soft and full. Wish there was more than one microwave for the entire hotel.

We had so many issues with management not coming through on their promises with our group rates for parking, and the room block for our event never showed up for us. We didn't have any hot water and had to take cold showers. The AC was FREEZING on Friday and Saturday, then the AC broke on Sunday and we didn't have any AC for our event... we were sooo hot. We were told it was off for "scheduled maintenance". And for more excitement, Friday night the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate, and two of our members were locked in the stairwell for hours. Not good had there been an acutal fire. The BEST part was the waitress in the dining room, Maria, who was AMAZING!!!
