Terrific Stay
Posted Apr. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayFrom check in to check out it was a wonderful stay! Very beautiful place. I would recommend an updated couch. Overall it was amazing. We purchased a sheet pan for oven use and left it there for future individuals to use. Enjoy all!!!

Beautiful Penthouse Apartment
Posted Apr. 24, 2024 on HomeAwayFirst off, be forewarned that this place involves a lot of steps, but that is how you get the spectacular views. The pool is on the ground level from the front of the building. And this 3 floor apartment starts on the third floor and goes up from there. Immediately behind the apartment building is Garrafón de Castillo beach resort. $10 per person. We snorkeled and lay on the beach with the iguanas, and then walked back over to the apartments and showered off at the pool before having a quick dip while enjoying the views from the pool. Definitely rent a golf cart for your stay so you can enjoy authentic Mexican food in mid-town. Places there cost half or less than The Joint (a few hundred feet from the apartment) or the North End pedestrian zone. All four of us loved what we ate at authentic places and no one suffered any gastric issues. The Joint does have live music, but it is expensive and is cash only. Cash only is very common there, so be prepared. This place is very close to the south end park, which is a gorgeous place to be for sunrise or sunset. After walking around the north end and grabbing some yummy street food/desserts, head back to the apartment and relax under the stars on the third floor terrace. Afterwards enjoy a restful nights sleep on the wonderfully comfy beds. I’m sensitive to bad beds, and I slept like a baby with no aches or pains. Communication with Delia was prompt, pleasant, and easy. The one surprise was not having a dryer with the washer.

This place is heavenly!
Posted Apr. 22, 2024 on HomeAwayLocated on the south end of the Island which is the quiet end. So peaceful! Amazing views from every terrace. Located directly above Garrafon De Castillo which had incredible snorkeling! A small entry fee to get in but well worth it. You can bring your own gear or rent from them as well. Within walking distance to multiple restaurants and a great little convenience store just half a block away. Also a short walk to Punta Sur which is a must do while on the Island. Can’t recommend this rental highly enough! We all loved it and had the most wonderful stay. Delia was absolutely amazing and helped arrange transportation and golf cart rental. We will definitely be back and will be staying at Sotavento for sure! Thank you Delia and Oscar for the outstanding customer service. You can tell they really do care about their guests. You will be blessed by staying here!!

It’s all about the views!
Posted Mar. 31, 2024 on HomeAwayThis property didn’t disappoint. It is just as nice as in the pictures. The views just keep getting better as you go up each floor. The condo was well-stocked too, from kitchen supplies to beach equipment.
Delia was a fantastic host. She was always prompt, positive and helpful.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else on Isla
Posted Mar. 11, 2024 on HomeAwayFantastic location with walkable restaurants nearby. On south end of island preferred for quietness. Beautiful property and view, very calming. View and sunset stunning right from your own balcony! We arrived early and the host worked so hard to get us checked in even when another guest had just left that morning. Super responsive and very kind staff on site. Highly recommend!

Just perfect

Checkin was a breeze. The guys were there when we arrived to help with our luggage. The views were stunning. Everything was very clean. We had everything we needed. We hope to be back!

Beautiful property and views
Posted Jan. 19, 2024 on HomeAwayWe absolutely loved our stay, especially watching the sunset each night from the top balcony. Delia was so helpful in arranging transportation for us and was very responsive. Also loved the proximity to Punta Sur for sunrises.
