Amazing traditional style home with a unique charm. It's evident that the owner put significant effort into giving the guests a very traditional experience. Great communication and the owner greeted us at the property and gave us a tour. As foreigners we didn't know how some of the appliances worked. Not only was there a manual but the owner showed us how the use everything. Located on a quiet street that's only a short walk from the busier areas in Kyoto and a 10 minute walk from the train station. Also very close to Arashiyama monkey park.
