Located in front of Fado Museum in Alfama a neighborhood which is composed of a maze of narrow streets, winding alleyways, and steep flights of steps. Its kasbah-like layout is deliberate - this is the city's ancient Arab district, and although there are no Moorish houses still standing, the tightly-packed lanes, small archways, and stone-paved terraces are full of atmosphere
It consists of 3 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room and kitchen, access only by stairs.

Extra guests
The guest on whose behalf the booking was made must stay in the accommodation as we cannot accept bookings for other people.
Extra people are not allowed beyond the number of people on the reservation.

Quiet hours
Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 7:00.
Please keep noise levels to a minimum during this time to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
Tobacco and drugs
As a family home, we have a no-smoking policy, so we ask that you do not smoke inside the property
What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when you stay in our home, we have a strict no drugs policy.
Pets
Although animals can be very well-behaved at home, how they will behave in a new space is not a given. And nobody wants to hear a dog barking at 2am or a cat meowing
Unfortunately, the costs of cleaning up after the animal are enormous in order to avoid allergies for the next guests.
And then there's the problem of smell: nobody who has an animal thinks their house smells bad. But anyone who enters the house will smell it immediately. The house would have to be open for 2 or 3 days for the smell to disappear and that's very expensive.
Any violation of this rule will incur an extra cleaning fee.
Parties
For us, the safety and well-being of hosts, guests and the community in general are a priority, so parties and events of any kind are forbidden in the apartment.
Airbnb and Booking take this issue so seriously that in the event of a complaint, the booking is canceled and the guest is not entitled to any compensation.
Garbage and recycling
Please dispose of your garbage in the bin on the day you leave the property. We appreciate your help in separating recyclable materials. The location of the garbage cans can be found in the House Manual.
This small step makes a big difference to the environment and will help us avoid a fine.
Before you leave, wash and put away the dishes and kitchen utensils you have used.
Accidents
Accidents happen. If you damage something, let us know as soon as possible so that we can take care of it.
It is expensive to arrive at the property and discover damage that could lead to your next stay being canceled because there is no time to repair it. In this case, we will request a compensation
We loved the location and the apartment had plenty of room for all four of us. It was comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the cafe downstairs - Brunches and Bites. We thought the apartment had a washer and dryer but it does not - it was only a minor inconvenience for us.
The apartment was in a great location. Itâs very spacious and has cute decor. Unfortunately our air conditioning units upstairs were not working and blowing out hot air. Property manager told us to open the windows and wouldnât send anyone until the next day. We were sweltering upstairs and had to sleep with windows open all night to catch a breeze. Outside is so loud with people, bars and garbage trucks at all hours of the night. So laying in bed trying to sleep because of noise and sweating was nearly impossible. We also had tons of ants all over the kitchen area. We told manager but nothing was ever done about the ants. Manager got someone to fix the air the next day but then blackout happened. This place has potential but needs a deep cleaning, repairs/maintenance.
Great location and space. Modern and clean. We were nervous about climbing the stairs, but by Lisbon standards not overwhelming at all. Located in a flat portion of Alfama, easy to access and so walkable. If you use Uber, use Museo Do Faldo as your pick up address for faster service. Highly recommend!
