The Space:
This cosy flat has an open double bedroom that leads into the living area and kitchen. The bedroom has plenty of cupboard space and hotel quality bed linens and towels. The living area has a comfortable sofa with a pull out sofa bed and a Smart TV. You are very welcome to book for three people and use the sofa bed if you whist but please keep in mind that it is a one bedroom flat which makes it more suited for two people.

You can take full advantage of the Wifi within the flat. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs during your stay so you can enjoy a relaxing evening in the flat. This is the ideal place to stay during your trip to the great city of London.

The Neighborhood:
This amazing flat is located in the thriving neighbourhood of Tooting which has been voted by Time Out magazine as one of the top ten neighbourhoods to live in the world and features regularly for new eateries. It is renowned for its food boasting some of London's best curries, endorsed by the Major of London, Sadiq Khan, who is from this area. Tooting Markets has recently become one of South London's most popular locations to meet for food and drink with cute, trendy gin and wine bars, craft beer and a vibrant mix of boutique eateries offering a range of world cuisine. It bustles on a Friday and Saturday evening and is a must see when in the area. There are also a range of great local cafes and pubs to grab a quick coffee on the way in to the city or unwind with a drink at the end of a long sight seeing day. The Green Monkey near Tooting Bec station do a fantastic brunch with excellent coffee and the staff will make you feel welcome and part of the area. Dining in with Deliveroo or Uber Eats is another way to sample the local food if you are too weary to go out or cook in the flat.

The complex where the flat is based is opposite Tooting Bec Common, a lovely place to take winter walks or relax with friends and family in the summer months with woods, open fields and London's largest and oldest fresh water pool, Tooting Bec Lido. Park run is held here every Saturday morning at 9am with all the locals from Tooting and Balham gathering together for a free timed 5km run for those who like keeping active while you're away! It's a great way to get a feel for this wonderful community who make the area of Tooting and Balham so popular.

Getting Around:
Tooting Bec Station is a 10 minute walk away where you can catch the Northern line and easily reach central London within 20 minutes. There are also a number of bus routes that can be taken from right outside the complex and run frequently to surrounding areas including Clapham, Balham and Chelsea. The flat is extremely well located for public transport and ease of getting around and is the ideal place to stay if you are visiting for Wimblebon Tennis in the summer with it's close proximity to Wimbledon and multiple bus routes serving this area.
