Chose this property because of the location and in the pictures on the website, It looked really nice. Check in was quick and easy. Entering the room, we could smell something very musty, seems like something was sprayed to cover up a scent.

Run down! The beds were hard, the toilet wouldn't flush, the shower was either ice cold or scorching hot, the water from the sink smelled like death! Our room wasn't ready and we were downgraded! The handiman was drunk and reaked of alcohol! Avoid this motel! Run away now!

They couldnt have paid US to stay here of we knew!

I didnt realize we booked a stay in an Alcatraz jail cell. The retro charm stops at the lobby. From there its long dark musty dingy low ceiling hallways lined with landlord paint special doors (multiple layers of thick flaking paint) The hallway carpet is stained and full of debris. The handles for exterior doors are janky and one was even held on by a 1/2" pipe strap and wood screws. The room had exposed plumbing along the ceiling and corroded rusty plumbing in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom it was so out of date that it wasnt even nostalgic. Pink pastels and oxidized whites that even my 98 year old grandmother would have hated. The sheets were so thin in spots that you could see through them. There was no comforter, just an equally thin yellow sheet. The door would slam comically loud and hard. The "AC" was just a humid loud wind machine. Front desk refused to refund us so that we can find another room elsewhere so we would have been forced to stay, check out the next morning, then book elsewhere. We had no choice but to just stay both nights. We asked about late check out for our final day because we had plans to go to swap meets and couldnt take the dog. We were told "No problem! Just let them know in the morning" Well in the morning when they found out we had complained to hotels.com they suddenly refused to give us late checkout. We had to pack up everything and the dog and just go home because there were no pet froendly swap meets open. Ruined our last day!

Hotel is next to fwy, lots of eateries nearby. Neighborhood is clean and looks safe. Room was cozy and quiet. Price was reasonable. Can use an upgraded Tv but it worked. Besides that I would stay again.
