The manager Lola is extremely rude and unprofessional, Check-In time is 3:00pm the manager told us our room wasn’t available and we had to wait until 4:15pm to check in, and you best believe check out was still the same time despite us losing over an hour for a room we paid for - then our shower water backed up almost knee high called front desk to fix it and maintenance left our bath tub nasty filled with mud, drain gunk, and lose hair

The body soap in the bathtub was empty, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, the fitted sheets on 2 queen size bed were double sheets and falling off. The coffee is instant even the coffee in lobby was bad, no signage, where are the elevators, the housekeeping didn't speak English and were unable to direct us to the elevators, only 3 elevators and a long walk to room, the pictures portray a resort atmosphere, but it was more like a motor lodge. There were very few people staying there and all of us on same floor right next to each other. You could have spread us apart. The balcony was as big as my foot, barely able to stand on it, what's the point? The balcony was advertised to be big enough for a chair? Not at all! The only reason I have a 3 resting is the desk staff were polite and the check in and out process was easy.

The room was fairly clean ,the maintenance and cleaning staff were nice and friendly. The front desk staff were very dry and not friendly, check in takes over 10 minutes without a line. The place is super scary if you bring children due to it being more of an attraction, it’s run down compared to photos. The rooms and hallways are something you’d see in a horror movie and doesn’t feel safe at all. The parking is not a very secure area as well. If you want a place that looks like you’re in the 1960’s then it might be a good option. It was a cheap stay compared to the market and there advertised photos were very misleading. This is a place you go to last second when you can’t make the drive home just to lay your head somewhere.

Unacurate advertising pictures

The pictures are deceiving. This is a hotel that probably was great in the 70s - 80s. It is outdated. The reservation was for a deluxe room, I can't imagine how a standard room looks like. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Furniture in general was old. It looked like the sheets were clean, but in general it was a very bad experience. The doors didn't feel secure. The whole hotel felt dingy.
This was the deluxe night stand.
The bath tub looked newer.
The vent was very dirty.
Front door and balcony had a chain lock ...

Our first room was on the first floor and our window that went out to the parking lot did not lock. We moved rooms and ended up on the third floor. The room we moved to, had an awful moldy smell. It had visible mold in the bathroom vent and in the corners of the room. Along with the smell, the wallpaper was peeling off everywhere and had some weird yellow gooey stuff leaking out of it. We had a lock on our door but it was hanging by a screw. Besides the quality of the room, the staff was very kind and had no issues helping us.

Not A Good Experience

We were disappointed in the overall quality of the hotel. The carpets were dirty and they weren't vacuumed. I found strands of hair in the shower. The fan didn’t work in the bathroom the mirror was fogged even with warm water. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is it was close proximity to The Galleria Mall.

The lobby was decorated nicer than the room. The furniture in the room was old and dilapidated. The elevator and hallways smelled. There were paint drippings in the tub, the walls were dirty. We would not stay here again. Its really sad since they took the time to decorate the lobby so nicely.

Upon arrival, the hotel where I thought we would be staying was not as expected, particularly the rooms. While the front area and the reception appeared fine, the situation changed drastically once we stepped into the elevator and reached our room. The room we had reserved felt unsafe due to a flimsy sliding glass door, especially since it was located on the dimly lit second floor at the back. The room's cleanliness was unacceptable, with what appeared to be blood or rust stains in the bathroom. Facing this unpleasant surprise, we decided not to stay there, fearing what other issues might arise if we remained. As we checked out, I detailed our experience to the desk agent, who only cared about and simply informed me we would be charged for that night, despite having spent less than 10 minutes in the room. I had anticipated difficulties but didn’t expect to be stuck with a charge due to the booking being through Expedia. The hotel said I would have to work with Expedia. When I reached out to them, they said the hotel had already reached out, and this a frustrating loop of back-and-forth. Eventually, I was only refunded for two of the three nights, meaning I paid for a night without having truly stayed there. Reflecting on this ordeal, I've decided not to use Expedia again for the foreseeable future, nor will I return to that hotel.
