Huge and sunny architect-designed three bedroom flat in the heart of the city, just a few steps away from the very famous Puerta del Sol. The apartment is located in the FORTH FLOOR with NO elevator of a building declared of cultural interest, with a unique wooden staircase worth the climb, as you'll find yourselves in a welcoming and appealing home that will deserve you several surprises. Tastefully decorated with trendy furniture and 3 balconies facing the street, it's the perfect refuge for a luxury stay in Madrid. The terrace by the roofs is, finally, the icing on the cake.

Guest access

The apartment, furniture and amenities are all new. It has:

*Three bedrooms, two of them in the ground floor of the flat and with queen sized bed (160*200), and the third one, one the roofs, with a smaller double bed (140*190)

*Living room with lots of space and light, including dining table for 6, sofa and sitting space also for 6 and 3 balconies to the street.

*Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook and eat: stove, refrigerator, oven, kettle, toaster, nespresso coffee maker, dishwasher and more.

*Laundry area with washing machine (with laundry soap provided!).

* No elevator (it's ground floor + 4)

* Wi-Fi is also available; we know that’s essential! ;)

* Smart TV

* Air conditioning in the living room and the 3 bedrooms.

Top end fresh linen and towels are provided, as well as an iron, hair dryer, etc. We also provide maps and information on Madrid as well as basic kitchen ingredients, such as oil, vinegar, spices, salt, sugar, tea
coffee.

One set of hand towel and shower towel per person per stay up to 7 nights will be provided. If more are required, there will be a charge of 10 euros per set.Baby crib available on request, the price is €15 for the entire stayIf you think there is something missing, we'd be happy to have your feedback in order to continue improving the apartment.

one week in Madrid

First nobody was at the building door. The bad surprise, no lift and the flat is on 4th floor. The girl was super nice and carried my suit case all allong the 4 floors. Bravo... Rest was more or less ok despite only one bathroom and a room without window to change the air of this tiny room and quite noisy, we had a good holiday .Location is great . A bit expensive for what it is.

Pros: apartment is beautiful and spacious, beds are very comfortable, kitchen is large and well stocked with anything you would need to cook with, location is perfect and literally steps away from all sorts of sites. Owners/management group we're very responsive and understanding particularly when we violated the quiet hours by 30 minutes. (1030 on a Friday night)Cons: one of the air conditioning units did not work well, our room was exceptionally warm. We had to go purchase additional stand up fans to even survive the night. The TV did not function. In the bathroom the shower head kept falling off the wall. All of these issues were addressed with out a fix via the management group. Odd quirks: the toilet is in a very narrow room and is side ways. The only way to sit on it was to full take off our pants. Disclaimer: my children ( 5 year olds) did draw with crayon on the sheets and appear to have cracked the night stand. At this point we have offered to fully cover the cost of the damage (which totals to twice our security deposit). This is still pending resolution.

Great time at Carretas 21!

The property is in a great location if you like being in the middle of all the action, which we do! The flat is spacious and the AC was a godsend on those hot summer nights. The only things that were challenging were the four flights of stairs, the windows were difficult to open (the building is really old!), the toilet had little space, and some of the lamps didn’t work. But the management team was terrific and we really enjoyed our stay there. Would absolutely book it again!

Nice clean property!, the staff was always quick to answer and address our requests. Only downside is the 4 flights of stairs we had to do at the end of the day as the property does not have an elevator. This was especially challenging when we arrived with our load of luggage :)

Stay in Madrid

We enjoyed our stay in this flat in Madrid very much. The flat is so centrally located that it couldn't be more central; it's only a few steps to Puerta del Sol, one of Madrid's central squares. We didn't need the public transport at all during our stay; we could reach everything on foot. The flat is very spacious and has everything you need. Supermarkets are also only a few minutes' walk away. Communication with the agency was smooth and if we had a question, it was answered immediately. We would love to come back again!

Beautiful Madrid

The apartment was fabulous. Well equipped, spotlessly clean and centrally located. Ideal for sightseeing and the Easter parades. The fourth floor was not a problem and meant nighttime was very quiet. The neighbourhood was very safe, as the whole city is. There are local supermarkets but also a wide variety of restaurants a short walk away. The hosts were incredibly helpful. We could not rate this highly enough. 😊

Central Location to all the attractions!!

the apartment was central to all of the attractions in Madrid. we found ourselves wandering in all directions to see the sights! all within east walking distance. only tough part was four flights of stairs at the end of evening and all the walking around town. the apartment layout met our needs - the most well stocked VRBO, we have stayed at. the third bedroom up the spiral stairs was nice but we ended not using it with our daughter sleeping on the couch. we didn’t use the terrace because we’re out and about all day and it was hot up there during our stay (end of June). coming to Madrid we would stay at the same place again! thank you for having us!

Natale a Madrid !

Posizione magnifica a due passi , anzi 28 per l'esattezza!! dalla Porta del Sol in una vivace via pedonale ma vicinissima ad un parcheggio pubblico (32 euro al giorno).La posizione Ăš altresĂŹ comoda per visitare a piedi gran parte delle attrattive turistiche e alla stazione della Metro. Noi avevamo l'auto ma l'abbiamo parcheggiata ad una ventina di minuti di cammino dalla casa ad un prezzo giornaliero decisamente piĂč conveniente! L'appartamento Ăš al 4° piano senza ascensore ma le belle scale in legno che portano ai piani non sono poi cosĂŹ stancanti. All'interno l 'arredamento Ăš moderno, funzionale e confortevole; belle e pulite le camere da letto ,i materassi comodi; spaziosa e attrezzata di tutto la cucina (mancano solo le tazze per la colazione!!) , luminoso il soggiorno con un'accogliente zona pranzo con comodissime sedie imbottite! L'unico 'meno' lo darei alla zona dei servizi in quanto il wc che Ăš separato dalla sala da bagno , Ăš collocato in uno spazio veramente stretto, sacrificato e non riscaldato ... Come quasi ovunque in Spagna, non vi Ăš il bidet :(( in compenso la sala da bagno Ăš provvista di due comodi lavandini che direi essenziali non essendoci il secondo bagno , una comoda doccia e anche una bella vasca da bagno. La connessione internet Ăš buona, il riscaldamento Ăš autonomo e facilissimo da gestire. Purtroppo vista la stagione invernale, non abbiamo potuto godere del bel terrazzino che c'Ăš al piano mansardato superiore a cui si accede tramite una scala a chiocciola e dove si trova anche la terza camera da letto... Noi eravamo in 4 e volendo ognuno poteva trovare la propria privacy in quanto gli spazi sono ben distribuiti. Vanessa , la host , Ăš stata molto gentile e disponibile a fornirci indicazioni pratiche e a consigliarci alcuni ristoranti in zona. .
