The hotel was good overall. The room we ordered smelled like smoke, which was a big turn off for us. However, the location of the hotel was perfect for a quick trip in and out of Madrid. And, the reception and desk clerks were all quick to offer suggestions on how to move about the city to see the big sites.

Everything was great and easy! The breakfast was fantastic with a lot to choose from. All the staff we encountered were nice and friendly, Eduardo, Maria, Wojtek are the names I remember… Clean room! Also, location was fantastic near the major museums.

Comfy rooms and great location

I had a very nice stay at Radisson Red. Check in was easy and the staff were helpful. I traveled solo on this trip and enjoyed the free WiFi and the air conditioning during the heat wave. The lobby and décor were nice. The corridors in the room level were a little dark, but the rooms were very clean, spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable—I slept so soundly after months of travel. This time, I chose the hotel based on location in order to be able to walk to the Atocha train station and walk to museums. Each time I visit Madrid, I stay in a different hotel, but I would return here again.

RADisson RED

I've not stayed in Radisson properties often, but that may change. The property itself is gorgeous and very well maintained. The staff is helpful and communicative, offering up suggestions for local fare and entertainment, airport rides, etc. The value is also great, larger rooms, great amenities. If I'm ever back in Madrid, will definitely check here first.

Amazing and friendly staff…we arrived early on a morning train. Room was ready early after waiting a short while in comfortable lobby bar. Great location. Across street Reina Sophia and couple blocks from train station. Will stay here again.
