The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location, everything is within walking distance. There's also a metro station steps away. They organize a walking tour. The guide Erika was also beyond helpful & informative.

The benchmark for what a hostel should be

If you try to describe what an ideal hostel should be like, pretty much every point will be met by this place. Amazing, friendly, sociable staff? Yes. Open-plan bar area open until 03:00 making it easy to socialise with travellers? Yes. Large comfortable bed with blackout curtain for privacy? Yes. Huge locker per person that is easily big enough to hold all your stuff? Yes. Individual plug socket and lamp for each bed? Yes. Great location, central in the city? Yes. Free walking tours arranged? Yes. Very well priced? Yes. More positives, but there's so many I can barely remember them all? Yes. If I really scrape the barrel, the only downsides I can think of was that there was no chalk at the time for the pool cues and the big world map downstairs is from 1976 so it's still showing places like Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union. It's still an impressive looking map though. Oh, and one final point: OK Hostel is a very misleading name. It is much better than ok. It's amazing.

Amazing hostel. We stayed in a private room which was really awesome - big enough with balcony and very comfortable bed. The staff was really polite and helpful. The best choice for stay in Madrid.

The stay was amazing. Each room has drapes and the hostel helps with directions and local amenities around the area. The hostel deserves its praise as a quality place of accommodation Also the hostel accommodates nightlife fun and also comes with excellent breakfast and dinner. Better stay 2nd time

Stayed here again for the last night of my trip and requested a bottom bunk bed in advance so it was much better. Bottom bunk shave a curtain that goes the full length of the bed behind the ladder so outside light does not bother you.

Good hostel, avoid top bunk bed

Good hostel, although common area felt more like a hotel lobby. Beds are big but top bunk has no curtain for privacy or to block the light. Any time the door opened the front light went on, super annoying. Also the main door always got stuck so it had to be slammed closed, which is awful at 1 am or 6 am when people are coming in late or leaving super early.

I was fortunate to have really great roommates during my stay. The staff is super friendly and always had my safety in mind. So so thankful that I booked a couple nights for the end of my visit.

Perfection

This hostel has got to be probably the best I've stayed in for along time. From arrival greeting right through to departure all was spot on. Clean, comfortable, quiet. No fault found. Indeed the staff made the stay very enjoyable through in particularly being very friendly and helpful and providing good quality breakfast and dinner. Thanks team.
