The building is in extremely bad condition. Wallpaper peeling off the walls showing mold underneath. The coat rack was broken. The bathroom sink was so broken that water spilled out the sides and bottom. The bathroom towel bar was just on the floor. Despite having the do not disturb sign out, a cleaning person came in but only took the living area trash and nothing else.

I have never stayed in a room, dirtier and more neglected. There was dried blood on the pillow, the sheets were stained and dirty the lampshade was busted. The bed was stained with no mattress, cover. The room smelled of mold and cigarettes. I slept with my clothes on, and a hat out of fear of bedbugs. The bathroom ceiling was stained and coming apart. The carpet was stained throughout the entire motel. The waiting area ceiling was falling in. Just awful!

Staff was great! Even the rooms assigned me looked great! I’ve stayed at this La Quinta many times, and I like what it has offered. But, there was a glitch this time. The first room assigned me, when I turned bathroom light on, there was a large cockroach in the bathtub. There were 2 more on the dresser by the TV, and a 4 th behind the toilet. I was discreet when I spoke to front office people and they immediately changed my room. However, upon turning on the bathroom light in different room, there was a cockroach on the wall. I have never run into this before at this place. Sadly, I won’t go back unless this problem is fixed.

We ended up checking out because of rooms not being cleaned, 1 bed was stripped bare and bedding was in the room, but all over the place. I was unsure if bedding was the clean or dirty bedding. I found a pill under the sink in plain sight. Both bathrooms had hair in the showers. Issues with rude staff regarding shuttle ride for 3rd occupant flying in. Shuttle left him at the airport and i was told it would be at least another 45 minutes for him to get picked up, so we checked out and did it ourselves. Staff didnt communicate this to shuttle driver, so 2 more rude calls were received demanding he come out of airport NOW. Even after being told it wasnt needed now, another call came demanding the same! When checking out, i told front desk staff why we were leaving without staying the night, and he just said "thank you" ?!?
