I recently traveled in from the Northeast for Mardi Gras weekend and wanted to share feedback regarding my stay. Given the high traffic volume for the holiday, I kept my expectations reasonable. However, when I arrived well past the anticipated check-in time, the lobby was extremely crowded with frustrated guests due to a downed system and ongoing room key issues. I waited approximately 20 minutes before I was finally able to check into my room. Unfortunately, the concerns did not end there. The cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. The headboard had visible stains, and the bathroom light was not functioning, requiring me to rely solely on the mirror lighting throughout my stay. Additionally, the room did not match the photos advertised online, which was disappointing. While the lobby area itself was nicely presented, the overall guest room experience did not reflect the same level of quality. The stay was not terrible, but it certainly did not meet expectations, and based on this experience, I would likely choose alternative accommodations in the future.
