Older location though room layout was favorable for us bringing kiddos and the make to order omelets are always a driving force behind my embassy suite stay. Would definitely recommend this location for anyone wanting to be near the French quarter but doesn't want to deal with all the noise and shnay at night

When we got to the hotel I was informed that the hotel did not have the king suite that I booked. They offered me a standard room with one queen for my family of 4. We explained that does not have adequate sleeping arrangements for 4 ppl. The manager and my husband politely went back and fourth after the manager told us he could refund our money and go book somewhere else at 11pm in the night. Fortunately my husband told him that was not an adequate response for a family that had paid in advance for the room. A few minutes later the hotel miraculously found a room which was the same that we had originally booked. The room was disgusting. We ended up checking out early and booking another hotel for the next night because the hotel management had no acceptable response for the conditions of the room.

The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was good except they ran out of Whole Milk and didn’t have any other options but OJ and sodas. We like milk with breakfast. Valet was great. Front desk was great. Maid service ran out of big towels to dry off with. We had to wait till next day to get some. Great location and safe. I would stay here again.

Unfortunately this hotel is falling apart. Our family got 3 rooms for 3 nights each. AC and hot water did not work for one room the entire time. No ho lt water any of the 3 rooms on the last day. Two of the rooms smelled awful. A mix of weed and incense. We left doors open for two days to no avail. On the last night the room key machine at the front desk stopped working. My daughter waited in the lobby for 2 hours until one of us could come back from dinner to the hotel to let her into her room. We complained and the staff listened patiently. They were very empathetic. In the end, they all but admitted that the hotel was apart and maintenance is just providing temporary fixes as best as possible. Ownership and management should be ashamed.
