This place is very clean and nice close to transport 1metro straight to the heart of NYC The breakfast is also very good and complete

Got to the hotel for 1pm (well before the check in time). The rooms were being prepared but the staff allowed us to put our luggage in a back room and we were able to go to the Yankees game (10 mins walk from the hotel) The Joker steps are 150 yards away too. I asked a member of staff about walking around the neighbourhood (safety) and he advised it "looked worse than it was". I had no issues walking around the neighbourhood during the day or later at night. The rooms were very clean and the beds were excellent. The breakfast in the morning was good and I would definitely use this hotel again.

Everything about the hotel seems to be in rush to make the next buck. From the waiter at breakfast telling me it’s only 30mins to eat my meal, while knowing that it may take 5 to 10 mins in line to get through the buffet line. And while you are resting up in the morning of your checkout, you get a call to remind you of your check out that’s about a couple of hours away. Please let your customer feel welcomed and comfortable.

Staff during check in was very friendly. I got an hour reminder before my check out. Room was exceptionally clean. Bathroom was super spacious. Shower had great pressure. Room temp was perfect.

Highbridge is clean, didn't have an iron. The Bronx is is dirty, However, the atmosphere was awesome, not a tourist attraction, people were surprisingly very friendly. Hotel was walking distance to Yankee Stadium. Had a great time.

If you’re just looking somewhere to sleep and shower this place is perfect. The subway is a breeze to ride downtown. The rooms are very clean probably some of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed. The neighborhood looks rough but we had no issues and didn’t feel unsafe at any point.

The room was clean, and the property was fine for my trip. The area doesn't offer a lot of dining options, so be prepared to travel down the road near Yankee Stadium for food or take an Uber so you can get food.

Very efficient and affable staff; location very close to bus and subway. A one-night stay that gave us comfort and relaxation. Good coffee in the morning! Would certainly book again.

Deceptive photos

The room and the hotel don't look anything like the pictures. They are in a very sketchy neighborhood that is not safe and the ground floor rooms Windows look directly out onto a busy street with people walking by. We did not stay in the hotel. After checking out the room we immediately went back to the front desk, checked out and left the area. The entire building had an odd smell that was very off-putting
