Located between Newport and Balboa Piers this mid Century 4 unit building on West Balboa Blvd Is perfect for short walks to either Pier and many fine restaurants, as well as the Balboa Ferry and the Catalina Flyer. This Studio apartment has a full kitchen. There is a comfy queen size captain's bed with storage underneath and ample closet and drawer space. Side tables are laptop tables to provide a workspace. Amenities include Smart TV, Cable, free Wifi, coin op washer and Dryer, there is a gas BBQ with table and chairs on a shared patio space. 2 Tommy Bahama Beach chairs and Boogie Boards are provided and stored in the garage with the laundry. This is a ground floor unit. There is a small bathroom with a NEW SHOWER!. Street Parking only. Quite hours are very important. No animals allowed on property due to allergies. Studio apt was very well equipped!! Although we didn't use the kitchen much during our short stay, I was impressed with how well it is equipped!!! Instructions on the use of the apt were very clear & appreciated. The only suggestion is to put the outside address # in a place that can be seen from the street. When the patio umbrella is up, the address # is not visible from the street.

Great location

Great place for our weekend get away. Enjoyed the ease of parking which can be hard in a coastal town, great price and location nestled between the ocean and bay. Walkable to all the sites, restaurants and stores. Would stay again, as we plan on doing this trip yearly now.

Just right for our stay

Perfect location, very clean and cozy. It is nestled right between Bay Street, which is a very high-end residential area (i.e. mansions galore) and the beach, which has a miles-long pathway and perfectly sandy beach that was not crowded when we were there in May. We felt very safe at this location and enjoyed sitting outside on the shared patio. The bed is super comfortable and we slept great. The couch is decent, I do wish the sitting area had been a little more comfortable. Everything was very clean and well-stocked. It was nice to have the kitchen so we didn't have to eat every meal out. We walked everywhere - it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Newport Beach and about 20 minutes to the other end near the Balboa Peir. If you have time, we recommend the sunset cruise in the bay and Fly N Fish Oyster Bar in Newport Beach. It's a touristy area, so a little challenging to find the "gems". Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My sis-in-law and I stayed for 3 nights and had zero issues with the property. Very well appointed and stocked studio. Location is fabulous!! Messaged host about nearby restaurants and she responded right away. There is a binder though with a list of restaurants, how to access tv and such. Had neighbors on both sides and had no issues with noise. Recommend.

Perfect for place for a relaxing long weekend

Wonderful place to stay! Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect. Street parking, but never had a problem finding a spot not too far from the studio. Just a short walk across the street to a less crowded part of the beach, but not too far of a walk to the shops and restaurants. Great outside seating area, perfect to hang out and relax. Directions for everything were well written and easily understood. Overall—a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again.

Get away from the snow

We have stayed at this address before....not this studio though. We have now stayed at unit A, B, and C. They have all been clean and comfortable. We had a hiccup with the water heater in this unit. The owners were quick to respond and act on the situation, priceless!! We will definitely stay again, maybe we will try unit D next time! Thank you owners!
