Do not stay. A/C is really loud

Do not stay here if air conditioning loudness matters to you. This is not the famous Claremont you're expecting. The in room HVAC / Air Conditioner sounds like jet engine, even when just on fan. I left after an hour. I consider my room payment a donation. Slept better at a Motel 6.

We didn’t realize they were remodeling the exterior and while the building would have looked better, they did a great job of limiting its impact on the property. Besides that the resort was in tip top shape and we loved the location being central to a number of different things.

This hotel was not just “old school”… it smelled like an old school… like a gym at an old school. Late arrival was not well handled and poor communication and no support. Room service support non-existent.

One of our favorite weekend getaway hotels. Excellent location, service, amenities,Pool and workout room. The only knock I would have is for the last couple years, there always is construction and renovations happening on the exterior.
