Secluded 5 acre getaway heated inground pool 6 person hot tub

Escape to this fully renovated, secluded getaway located just 30 minutes from entertaining downtown Cleveland and 45 minutes from the world famous Cedar Point in Sandusky! The main attraction is the heated 20’x40’ inground pool and the 6 seater hot tub.

Privacy abounds on this 5-acre property set within charming Oberlin. Modern amenities provide all the comforts necessary for a relaxing stay or quiet remote work setting take in a movie, or unwind in the pool/hot tub overlooking the lush forest. Indoor meets outdoor living, a truly nature-rich experience awaits you!

This spacious raised ranch sleeps 8 comfortably. The first two bedrooms are on the main floor and the third and fourth bedrooms are on the lower level of the house.

The breeo fire pit has a sear plate on top that gets extremely hot use caution, fire wood is included.

The pool is open April-September

I strive to be extraordinary quick with responses, if you have a question ask. When in town I will check the pool and hot tub chemicals 2x/week. Usually Monday and Friday mornings with the latter being trash day. Friday will be around 8am typically mow that day as well.
Please have garbage out the night before. I will take the cans down. I ask that you please take the empty cans back to the house it’s impossible to time when the service will pick them up. There is a dog fee $100 please add your pet when entering guest information.

We stayed in this secluded 5-acre getaway - 4 adults and one 3 year old. The place is in a great location, close to the center of Oberlin as well as North Ridgeville. Plenty of nice breakfast places in Oberlin. The house has a large, open family/living area which is perfectly suited for children and family conversation. Plenty of space for everyone. The host was extremely accommodating and responsive - very easy to work with. Would stay in this location again.

Check in to the property was pretty easy and host responds pretty quickly to messages. We chose to stay at this house because of the pool and we were in it almost everyday. The living room is also very nice with a big tv and we had enough bedroom for everyone. There is also a nice big yard to give you privacy. Our only complaints about the property is that the kitchen was not as stocked as we were expecting like having enough bowls for everyone or certain cooking utensils. There also isn’t really any shade around the pool but I was informed that the umbrella had broke recently in a storm. The pool is very nice and we enjoyed it a lot but there are some loose bricks surrounding the pool. Overall everyone had a great time and we would definitely stay at this house again.

Beautiful home.

The house is beautiful and in a great location. We enjoyed our stay. Steve was easy to communicate with prior to the stay. The only negative comments I can make are the kitchen can use a few other pieces of dishes and a cutting board. The cleanliness of the house needed some attention. Unfortunately that left a bad impression on us.

Great family house and property close to Oberlin College

Our family from Washington and California traveled out to Oberlin for our nephew/son’s recital at Oberlin. This house was great! Very close to the college and so easy get to not only enjoy the recital but also to pop over to visit when his schedule allowed. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We all said we could picture staying here when it was warmer, enjoying the fire pit and hanging out around the pool. Inside was very clean and had everything we needed. The large kitchen was the central hub when we were there but everyone also had their own spaces as needed. The house itself is a little bit older but has been remodeled in the bathrooms and kitchen in ways that make it both comfortable but also like going to stay at a home that has been in the family and that still has its own personality. I would definitely recommend this house and very responsive host. We talked about maybe booking it again for graduation next year and it is already reserved so you know it is a great find!

Oberlin trip

We booked the house for a weekend trip to visit our son at Oberlin. We had a full crew with us, including our other son and his girlfriend, my parents, and even our dogs. The house worked great for the crew, with plenty of space for everyone. The yard and outdoor space, especially, are phenomenal for hanging out on warm, late summer evenings. While it's not in Oberlin proper, it's an easy 5 minute drive to downtown and campus. Loved our stay at the house!
