It is located in Emerald Island a gated resort community that is peaceful and safe as well as closest to shopping, Disney and restaurants.
The home consists of 1 KING bed with an attached bathroom,
1 QUEEN bedroom with attached bath,
1 Kids bedroom with 1 twin and 1 bunk bed and Living Room with a sleeper sofa.
The home can sleep 6 people very comfortably and 8 people with the use of a sleeper sofa.
The home has in-home laundry (washer-dryer). Very close to the pool.
Cable and flat-screen TVs included.WIFI and High-Speed internet. HOA does levy a one-time access charge of $20 per car (not needed for Uber/cab etc.)- to be paid directly to the resort after booking and before arrival.
The kitchen includes all normal "home" appliances - microwave, refrigerator, cooking range, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, and blender.
An initial packet of coffee and sugar, as well as a small hotel soap bar, shampoo, and conditioner, is provided- you will have to get more from Walmart, Publix, or other stores nearby for longer stays or for a bigger group.
Please note: you will be required to sign a rental agreement so that we ensure you have read the rules of the HOA and the city. Local City laws require us to keep track of all visitors.

One night stay

The property is conveniently located and overall nice. Disappointed that the sheets were still wet when put back on the bed. I assumed they thought the sheets would completely dry if the comforter was left off. We had to put them in the dryer and make the bed ourselves. It made for a very late night. Soap was already used in the bathroom. Cleaning team need to pay a bit more attention to get ready for the next guess.

Great location with nice amenities

Really enjoyed staying at this home. Love the location and the neighborhood. Pool is nice and close by. Only 10-15 minutes to/from Disney. The house was in great condition with lots of clean towels provided.

AC issues

The place itself is okay. But the night I arrived 11PM the House was at a burning 78 degrees. We slept in the heating thinking it was that hot due to no one using it. We lowered the AC to 72 and roughed out the night. The next morning it had only cooled to 75 (temp set still 72). We left to the theme park and didn’t return till late. When we walked in, the house was again at 77/78 degrees. This is when I messaged the owner. Unfortunately, since we arrived late both nights nothing could be done. My toddler left with a rash from the heat. I asked the owner if we could work something out and instead got an email telling me “I don't know what to say. Experts recommend a temperature of 75. Anything below is not recommended for the system or for people“. Not really the answer I was expecting when I explained our situation. I feel this was an issue with mismanagement. He asked why I didn’t write about it sooner, the real question is...why wasn’t the house checked before I checked in???? Someone would have noticed the AC was acting up prior to my arrival. Minor things were also missing and I mentioned it to the owner in order to avoid issues with my deposit.

Plenty roomy, very good location, great gated community with pools and Happy Hour!!

We were in the Orlando area for a surgical procedure at Florida Hospital in Celebration. Chose this VRBO townhouse due to location and size. It was just the two of us mainly but our youngest son and wife were joining us for a nite or two post-op to help out, therefore the larger unit. The Emerald Island community is VERY security conscious. It takes going through two gates where you flash your pass to the card reader machine to access your unit. We had to go to the main gate then the clubhouse to get signed up for our pass to enter. It's all good if you are inclined to need this level of security, we thought it was a bit much but no real complaint. The townhouse was as pictured and described. We were very pleased with the unit, decently furnished, plenty of TV's in most rooms, beds were comfortable, bathrooms nice with good water pressure in the showers, plenty of towels, good kitchen appliances (although the fridge was a little awkwardly placed) so all good there too. Only three minor things could use a little attention. First, the wi-fi was a little weak but useable. Maybe a better router would help? Second, the floors could use a heavy-duty scrubbing. They were clean of sand or dust and nothing could be felt on bare feet but at the end of the day you wanted to wash your feet before getting into bed. Thirdly, all though the townhouse was reasonably well provisioned, it was provisioned a bit on the light side. Perhaps a little more toilet paper and an extra roll of paper towels or two ould be nice so you don't need to go to the store off the bat upon arrival. Location was great! Very near Rte. 192 for all the shopping ( if you do Walmart it is close) , Walgreens and every type and brand of restaurant is right there. Disney is very close, maybe 10 or 15 minutes away. The community has two pools near the unit. One very close for the section of the community you are in and a larger pool with Tiki bar and snack shack at the clubhouse area, just a short walk, bike ride or car jaunt away. They even have HappyHour 4-7 each day! Manny was a very good manager, always available by phone for any last minute questions or advice. For the price, this place would be very hard to beat and is way more accommodating and comfortable than any hotel room. We would be very happy to return should the need arise.

Will not go back

I have never sat on such a uncomforatable couch in my entire life, The extra sheets and comforters that are kept in the closets were just crumbled up and thrown, I had no idea if they were clean or dirty... I had to wash all the towels before using them as they looked dirty. To top things off the balcony upstairs seems as if its about to fall. I will never stay here again.

It's wasn't the orinigal property I booked. The shower in the master bedroom knob didn't work, there

Vertical blind missing from the slide door. Walks in the stairwell were dirty. I wanted to be in the same community as requested to be with our family. Overall experience I can say I have stay in better but the community was nice.

Great Management, older houses.

Manny and on-site manager's were very good and helpful. The house itself was older and very well used. We rented because of evacuation from South Florida. I would rent again because the houses are large and fitting for exactly what we needed as a large family.

Cozy apartment and great location
