Hotel Landy was a pleasure stay at! From the attentive front staff, to the charismatic café staff, the cleanliness of the room/lobby/& pavillion, to the closeness of attractions & stores, it surpassed any and all expectations. During my stay I experienced no hot water. There was an outage in the area. Cold showers caused me to become sick once I returned back home. Beautiful hotel and great location. I just was a bit disappointed because there were no accommodations or credit for the duration of my stay.

This was by far a terrible experience. I had come on a trip with my friends to Unibersal and from reading all the previous comments of the hotel I expected the expectations to be good. From the start we running into issues. As soon as we checked in the hotel informed us that the hot water was not working for the hotel in which we asked when will it be back on and they said by the end of the day which then turned into having no water at all for the entire trip. Rhis hotel did not have any water available for the entirety of the vacation. All I wanted was to take a warm shower after our long day at universal and was not even allowed to do that while paying so much for a hotel that claims to be up to “standards”. This is unprofessional and lack of customer service. To not even notify guests and have no compensation what so ever. Very disappointed with this stay and wouldn’t recommend. On top of the water being busted, the entire floor had construction going on which has dust everywhere on the floor we stated on and seemed very ugly.

Horrible hotel

No hot water and couldn’t provide a room with. Then couldn’t help with a different so I had to cancel reservation once arriving at front desk and then book at another hotel. No notification of the property deficiencies prior to arrival as well

A number of things went wrong with this trip. Mainly calling ahead to confirm an early check-in and not being told the A/C had gone down. Then we checked in and weren't told and 1.5 hours later we went to C.S. and relayed dissatisfaction with cleanliness, musty smell due to a large water leak on the floor, lack of TP, towels, etc. and A/C had climbed to over 80 degrees! Then we were told the A/C had been out for 5 hours and were offered a full refund. Unfortunately, since it was through Expedia, no paper trail was to be had or confirmation # and relied on their word... three days later discovered cancellation had not been put through which resulted in running around with Expedia, and being charged an extra cancellation fee! A total of 3 hours of my time spent to figure it all out... we're also not using Expedia again!
