We arrived at 10:30 am and was told we would have to wait for a room to be available. Our daughter and her family checked in about a half hour later and received a room key immediately. My husband is 80 yrs old and I am 71 and we had to wait until 3:50 in the afternoon to get a key to a room, only after I went back down to the desk several times. People were checking in and going up to rooms. This is unacceptable and at our age we should have had some consideration.One of the young ladies at check in was very rude to my husband. We will not be back, nor will we recommend staying at Margaritaville.

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort and would definitely recommend to anybody coming to Orlando! Close to all things Disney if you are heading to the parks and don’t want to stay on property. Only downside is things to do on property other than the pool. 3 restaurants were advertised and only 2 were open. The 3rd said private event our entire stay but we never saw anything going on. The poolside restaurant had good food and convenient for our days by the pool. Will hopefully be back to stay again next year!

During our first night we had a cockroach in our bathroom. We called the front desk and they moved us to a room down the hall. They didn’t seem surprised or concerned. In addition, both myself and daughter woke up with itchy skin. My daughter then developed terrible hives all over her face, shoulders, back and arms for the next three days. When I inquired at the front desk about the type of detergent being used to wash the sheets and towels, the manager was unable to tell as the linens are outsourced to a third party. The hotel is in need of some TLC (painting, and general cleaning). There are marks all over the walls. House keeping came in our room once during our 5 night stay and made the beds, never vacuuming or cleaning more than that.
