House and setting was great and location was good. We were disappointed our pool heat was cancelled and credited. We asked a couple of times once it warmed up but felt we were kind of given the run around. Very disappointing when the houses next door had pool heat and were enjoying their pool and we couldn’t. Really diminished our stay.

Great resort close to parks

This house has a great location, great soroundings near the Orlando Parks and so much more. Few things were not as expected but overall is a good house. Masters bedroom is spacious and the King size bed very comfortable, upstairs beds were not as comfortable. If you are staying with a big group and you are planning on cooking a lot like we did you might find that the kitchen needs more utensils like spatulas and kitchen tongs. It does has plenty of silverware and plates. The starter kit for kitchen and bathroom did not work for us. They forgot to leave the starting kit for the dishes. I text the manager about it and the answer was very quick but the items they call "sojo box" came next day around 4pm. We have piled up dirty dishes for 24 hours. Also the sojo box has cheap liquid dish soap. A/C works perfect and the pool is nice, the only thing negative is that the house does not have pool chairs to lay down around the pool. They do have TV's but not Smart TV's in any of the rooms. The house has few things that were broken like some of the cabinets in the kitchen, one of the dishwasher trays, the light under the microwave, sink in master bathroom was clogged and masters tv remote was not working. Few things here and there and for what you paid, that is not cheap, you expect a house in better conditions. I stayed in Solara Resort before in a different house and it was well maintained. I will definitely stayed in Solara Resort again but a different home.

When I arrived at my home, I found the front door wide open at 12:00am. I searched the whole house for safety. I ended up repacking everything to leave the next day because the door code did not work. When I returned, I found a red door tag stating the code was inop at first. The master bed makes so much noise, you cant sleep in it. The small living room couch is so worn out 2 people can't sit side by side. My first time with VRBO and my last.

Home Away from Home

Great stay

Amazing place. I have stayed at this resort several times before and this house was by far the best. Super clean, and well stocked kitchen. Had a maintenance issue and the team was quick to respond to email and her situation rectified. Will definitely book through them again

Great house, resort and area. Loved having our own pool that was very clean! Felt at home and lots of storage space! Only thing I didn't like was the people before us put dirty dishes in the cabinets so we had to wash all the dishes when we got there just to be safe. House had everything we needed!

Not as pictured, very uncomfortable

This house is NOT welcoming or comfortable. Everything felt cheap or dirty. We found used masks under dressers and beds. There is one couch in the living room with dirty throw pillows on it and a small couch in the loft. In order for our family of 7 to sit together in the living room, we had to pull chairs from the kitchen table. The house was bare minimum. They clearly don’t want you staying long. The outdoor patio has three chairs and one small round table, not the big table with 6 chairs like in the listing photos. Lights in several of the rooms were burned out and were unable to be replaced during our stay. At one point we received an email from the management accusing us of not letting the pool company clean the pool and because of our “refusal the pool would become green and un-swimmable” for the rest of our stay. The pool company never even showed up on the day we supposedly refused them service. It was all very frustrating. Linens showed up that we supposedly requested but we never did so I hope we weren’t charged for those. There seems to be a major delay in their system to process guest requests. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and everyone from my young children to my elderly parents complained of back problems during the trip. The rooms got very hot at night and there was only one fan in one of the guest closets and no ceiling fans. Solara itself is a nice resort but I would not recommended this house.

Great location, Poor ambience

If your plan is to go to the Parks every single day then this house has the perfect location. For the rest I will not recommend it. Half of the chairs at the pool area were broken and the table wasn't stable. No lounge chairs. One room was full of ants. The house accommodates 12 people and the sofa in the living room is only for 2.
