"We had a nice stay here, hotel very conveniently located within walking distance to town and activities. Room was spacious and breakfast was nice. The property could use a bit of TLC in a lot of areas to be more up to date but was nice"

"The accommodation was ok needs some maintenance on sealant round toilet unit and sink unit but no biggy. Comfortable and good value for money. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The cooked breakfast had elements that were dried out black pudding/haggis and tomatoes the potato scones had been deep fried and were very greasy. Other items were freshly cooked, pancakes. I would go back but go self catering"

"Slight mix up with room key but quickly and easily resolved. Floor boards on floor 3 landing very creaky, impossible to sneak to bed quietly at gone midnight. Staff pleasant breakfast excellent."

"The Abbotsford was a lovely place to stay while spending the weekend in Callander. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was affordable and delicious, and the location was quiet. Only real complaint was that the door to our room would bang when the windows were open even a little amount. Easily remedied by putting a towel or extra blanket on the floor at the base of the door. We would definitely stay here again."

"The bed was the hardest I've ever slept in. It's a shame as it was such a huge bed, but the hardness meant myself and my partner were constantly waking up to try and get comfy to no avail. If you love hard beds then I guess this is great 😃"
