Elevator button on fifth floor had some weird white substance on it (candlewax?) and it took 3 whole days for someone to notice and clean it off. Breakfast was stale and lacklustre. Looks like the ceiling in my room was water damaged.

The dorm was great, and the staff was helpful. The breakfast in the morning was a pleasant surprise. The only thing is since it is downtown finding parking was hard especially if you're in Montreal for first time and don't speak french

We were in the area and had really no other place to stay and ended up choosing this location. It looks charming and quaint from the outside but it's not great on the inside. I would not recommend.
