"I liked everything about this place, the room was well equipped, clean, great size and comfortable. The staff we're really friendly and professional for checking in and when I asked questions. The location was fantastic. The gym was clean and respnably equipped with weights and cardio machines. Only way it could improve is to have one or two cable machines but it does well with the space its got available. The terrace on the roof was a welcome surprise for watching the sunset in the evening. Couldn't recommend this place to stay more, it was great!"

"We really liked the location in Old Montreal. Historic exterior of the hotel is beautiful. Rooms have character but are worn in areas. Our bed frame squeaked pretty loudly. We did like the on premise restaurants and the food was good, although the service was very slow most days. The Spa was nice and provided the services we were looking for. The room was noisy, with street noise, hallway noise and A/C rattles and hums. The blinds were not fully functional and lots of light comes in even when the blinds are closed. Our room was only serviced once in four days with no explanation, only an "I'm sorry about that" from the front desk at checkout. Hotel is not overly secure with multiple entrances with elevator access unattended and no card key elevator access system. Overall it was a just OK experience, nothing egregious but not close to 5 star."
