We loved our stay at this neat, unique boutique hotel in Old Montreal. It has many great touches, like tons of artwork hanging on all the walls, and a boutique with Montreal, Canada, and hotel-branded merchandise. The bilingual staff was welcoming and pleasant. Free breakfast, in a relaxed space, included two very fresh (right from the oven) danishes, plus beverages. The location can't be beat, either - two blocks from Notre Dame Basilica, with numerous amazing restaurants and shops and markets all in easy walking distance. It is also just blocks from the Old Pier or St. Catherine's Street, and a 15 minute walk to the Via Rail station. It was perfect for our needs.

The greatest people you can ever ask for are polite and helpful individuals. the rooms are wonderful, and the beds are very comfortable. I can highly recommend LHotel. You don't need a car; you can walk anywhere within 20 minutes. Great old town feel with tons of food choices and shopping. We stayed here for 1 week, and will again anytime.

What is most unique of this property is the artistic concept of this hotel. Ideally situated in the heart of Old Montreal, a few steps from Basilique Notre-Dame and Place-D’Armes Square. The walls of every floor are lined with frames of paintings spanning decades if not centuries of artists ranging from Monet, Miro, Picasso to Andy Worhol. Take a walk though the halls of each floor - if you appreciate local and international replicas of well known artists and painters. Friendly staff, clean property, in the historical and cultural center of this lovely metropolitan city.

The rooms were very unique but one of the rooms smelt very musty. Executive Room was nice and well appointed but all the rooms were very dated and needs updating. Our bathroom was not clean, water marks all over the counter top suggesting it had not been cleaned after the previous guest. Carpets from the entrance to the rooms were very worn and dirty. The good points, it’s in a good location quiet but easy to walk and get places and restaurants bars all walking distance. The staff at the hotel were all really nice and were helpful and accommodating. I can’t fault them for their customer service.

Nice place in Old Montreal

Location, location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the front desk people were so helpful, the room was huge the bed very comfortable and the room nice and quiet. Able to walk everywhere from the hotel feeling very safe too
