Everything was great! The hotel staff was super friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect right around the corner from Notre Dame. We could walk to restaurants and shopping. Used Ubers with longer rides.

The room was very clean, and the hotel is located in 4 historic buildings. I would personally prefer a more traditional interior style, but so be it. The brasserie, 701, is in a beautiful, original room with high ceilings and original plaster mouldings. The food is quite good and basic French—steak frites, etc. The hotel’s location is perfect.

Conveniently located! Very friendly staff and always willing to help. The young men at the front door are very helpful with luggage and so nice! The spa is incredible! The concierge, Ricardo is extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this property when staying within walking distance of everything!

I have stayed at Place d'Armes several times before, but this was my first visit in approx 10 years. The location can't be beat, as it's within all of the sites, restaurants & beautiful cobblestone streets of Old Montreal, yet only a 5 min walk to the Metro. We were in room 2207 (Junior Suite), and although the room was spacious, clean and well appointed, the location of this room was not ideal. 2207 is located right above the entrance to the hotel, so there was quite a bit of street noise, especially at night when the restaurant/club across the street open and hopping. Being so close to the fron of the hotel made it difficult to open up the drapes. I would not hesitate to stay here again, but I would definitely request a room on a higher floor and/or away from the street. Lovely little boutique hotel in the heart of Old Montreal. Give it a try next time you're in Montreal!

We've stayed here several times now and never been disappointed. The staff make this hotel "home".They are awesome- kind, caring, go above and beyond to ensure your enjoying your time with them. The restaurant has an amazing breakfast - could use at least one additional server in the mornings. Coffee/Tea free in the lobby every morning is wonderful - such a treat when you return from a run outside or wander down in your bathrobe. Stay here, you'll never want to leave!! See you again soon.

Hotel Place D’Armes is located in a great spot to easily access all the beauty of Old Montreal and head towards the city core. The hotel itself is beautiful - composed on multiple old buildings and has tons of character. The service is exceptional, with all staff available to help make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. This is our second stay and we’ll return any time we visit Montreal.

Beautiful property and a great room. The elevator was broken for most of our stay so we had to walk four flights each time, with luggage with no help offered. One day our room was not cleaned, I requested it with the front desk again before we left for dinner. Came back four hours later and still the room wasn't cleaned. There was a hug pile of dirty towels on the floor outside our room without explanation. During checkout I reported these issues to the front desk and there was no reaction.
