The are was very quiet. The facility was nice and clean. The room itself was quite spacious (we had a king size bed) and there was plenty of space that we didn’t feel cramped. The bed was soft and the water pressure of the shower was nice. A pleasant stay and a great price. Plus we had a large SUV and a UHaul trailer-plenty of parking. We’ll be down there often so we’ll stay here again and we’re recommending to others.

I really enjoyed my stay here – very comfortable and the staff were so friendly! I loved the fact that there was no carpet. The location is perfect, with everything nearby and a park just a short walk away. The only thing I would suggest is a bit more attention to the floor cleanliness; my socks got dirty pretty quickly. But honestly, that's a small thing, and I would happily stay here again!

Great hotel

We always stay here when we visit family in Oxnard. Very convenient for shopping and restaurants. One Chinese restaurant that I recommend is called The Mandarin House. Ver quiet hotel as well.

Spacious, clean rooms, nice overall.

The Hotel is still going thru remodeling in the Lobby, but their Rooms are nice, spacious and has all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay. They are business friendly with electrical outlets for your computer, they have Coffee Pot and Refrigerator for you and you have room to move around. The only issue is if you are on the bottom floor, depending on who is on the top floor, you might hear some HEAVY FEET walking around.

It was a large and comfortable room. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The pool, flower gardens were beautiful. When they get the breakfast up and running it will be perfect. Would highflying recommend this hotel .

Had a great time there. Room looks fairly newly remodeled. Beautiful bathroom. No complaints. Mexican restaurant next door was really good. A cannibis club next door and no issues with having to smell the cannibis. Nice pool and hot tub. Wish they offered towels at the pool. Other than that had a great experience and will be back.

Room had a smell of cigar smoke and floor was dirty. Bag of trash left behind front door. AC was weak and was dropped to lowest temperature but still barely worked. Staff was professional but was limited on what they could do.

Casa Via Mar has upgraded its facility since my previous stay. It had new furniture, complimentary toiletries and convenient chargers, TV's, alarms etc. The only issue was it seems they have not finished as there was no drawer for clothes, only 1 small hall tree (for jackets) and a big empty space where an armoire/ dresser Should be? (I had a king suite) But it was clean, comfortable and near the base and restaurants so overall.... a good place to stay.
