The air conditionner was working but kept making loud noise which kept me from sleeping a full night, i’ve had about 2h of sleep. One of the 2 towell i was given came with something that looked like a poop stain on it… I wish i had looked at the reviews before booking this, i would’ve gone elsewhere. The room i received was worth half the price i paid in my opinion.

Room was ok but building was already run down.Parking was hard to find and for breakfast it was not a good experience when we lined up but the family behind us was let in and served first when obviously we were ahead of the line.

This property was clean and comfortable and included in the price is a lovely breakfast. The property is a few buildings away from where you check in and only at certain times, so no one at the property to contact should you need anything. I stayed 3 nights and reported that my tv did not work. I received 2 new batteries on the second day which I put into the remote but that didn’t fix the problem. It was escalated to be repaired but was not fixed by the time I left. Also I was given 1 x t-bag for the coffee machine no actual coffee pods. The property is very central and convenient to all things to see. Please be aware that there is no lift and the rooms are up at least 20 steps. If you are coming from the train or bus station please take a cab unless you are fit as there are many steep hills to negotiate to get to any of the hotels on the top of the hill. Google maps told me it was a slight incline which it’s not.

Reception lady's very kind, welcoming and proactive ☺️. Very much appreciated. The place is reminiscent of traditional living with refurbishments. It is very walkable to where one needs to be, shopping and everything else!

It was so noisy as the walls are thin and guests banged down the hallway at all hours. Sleeping was disrupted constantly. Parking was a nightmare even though the website advertised parking, we had to walk 10 minutes with our luggage. The TV was broken and the towels were thin and stiff. No staff around to assist. Terribly disappointing.

We booked Hotel Louisbourg and we were not given rooms there but in Maison du General. The rooms were the worst: one was room 9 on last floor with narrow stairs to go up to and inhumanly small ( walking sideways next to bed ) , no place to sit or eat , no space in bathroom. Room 1 was right next to the entrance, so you'd hear all noises of door or loud people cleaning at 6:30-7 in hotel or outside . Size of room 1 was good. I was told by receptionist ( most time not there) that we might get a better room next day . Nothing , no call , nobody was at reception anymore the next day . Awful service , not given what we booked and not a livable room ( my friends visit Canada from Europe for the first time.. Thank you Quebec) .

Hotel has a great location, bed was comfortable, clean towels. A little noisy but ok. The only inconvenience we had was the TV did not work during our stay(image would freeze every 5 sec)

the hotel is in a great location. only thing is that there is no reception at this hotel. it is down the street a few doors and there is no reception except from 11 till 4. Maybe... I was able to communicate with someone thru text and was lucky that a guest of the other hotel let me in as there is a code at the door so I could drop off my luggage on my last day so I could still go explore the city.
