The property and staff of Hotel du Vieux were outstanding!!!! The restaurant right next to it (Hortus) was amazing. Everything was within a 10 min walk…shopping, restaurants. Plus, the history and old structures of Old Quebec were incredible. I would recommend this sweet boutique hotel to everyone:)

Loved everything about this hotel. Location is great. Walking distance from everything, including the Gare du Palais if you don't mind a steep climb. My husband and I managed and we are Senoirs. Helpful staff, nice lounge with a great coffee machine. The breakfast picnic basket is the perfect start to the day. Bistro Hotus served an excellent dinner.

We had a very nice stay - the hotel is in a great location. Only one complaint - the welcoming staff was very friendly and advised us that we would receive a breakfast basket at 7:00am the next morning. We thought that was a very nice touch and were looking forward to it. To my surprise, there was nothing there when I woke up and checked at 7:45. I went to the front desk to ask why we had not received the basket and was told by a not-so-friendly gentleman that we did not order one and that, because we had booked with Expedia, it was not included in our booking. Too bad - would have been nothing but great had it not been for that customer service faux pas.

Very nice property in the middle of a bustling street lined with shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful and room was very spacious, clean with good amenities. Only thing that was lacking was the gym. Hotel was close to many of the popular sites in Old Quebec.

Excellent location walkable to everything in the Old City (vieux de ville), helpful staff, spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms and bathroom, the updates/renovations have made the hotel charming and also modern. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the room rate is very high.

Staff were wonderful and very nice. They made my stay feel great The reason why i'm giving this hotel 3 stars is because of my room initially booked. I booked a standard queen size room. When i booked it the pictures were showing a well nice renevoted room but unfortunately reality was not. I jad been assigned a very old room with a slanting ceiling above my bed which made me feel clusterfobic. I informed front desk about it and i was only given an option of an upgrade for a superior queen room. Despite being falsly advertised of what room i would be expecting they ended up not trying to accomedate me better and satisfy a customer isted i had to pay 30$ a night plus taxes to get a better room that looked like the pictures i had booked. Beaware when booking
