"We liked that the hotel was refurbed in September 2026 and we stayed mid October 2026. The room was a king guest room and had plenty of space including a table and chairs for in-room dining (more about that later). The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of hot and cold options. If like me you don’t like smorgasbords you can ask the chef to cook you up an omelette or an Asian breakfast. We had everything we expected of Hilton (other than the coffee and tea in reception lounge area). Being a new hotel I’m sure they’ll introduce that convenience in future. The in room dining is a bit of a communication nightmare. We ordered 2 meals and 2 desserts. Both times we were bought 1. So 45 minutes later the 2nd meal is delivered. Not happy despite saying several times 2 meals for two people. However, meal & dessert were great first time however, when we ordered the same dessert again it was completely different (Blueberry Cheesecake). We expected to get the same delicious cheesecake but found a tiny blamonge type dessert. Was not a cheesecake at all. It was tiny and not worth the sgd. I took a pic of it and let the manager of the breakfast room know. He was excellent and provided a full refund. I think teething problems but it was expensive so we expected a decent meal each to eat together. Best go Lau Pa for an excellent choice and value of cuisines. Great location, buses right outside the hotel with plenty of options. Concierge/ reception staff were such great assistance."
