Unexpected gem

First stay at Hokiday Inn at Media City, generally use another hotel close to this one. This time due to room rate went another way, and so glad I did. The welcome was warm and inviting, the room was excellent and the breakfast leaps ahead of the other property used previously - certainly now my choice for Media City - see you soon!

Excellent hotel in Salford

Second stay at this hotel and honestly can’t fault it. We stayed in a twin room on the 12th floor. Room has kettle and a fridge and a good view. Beds were clean and made daily, cups and glasses replaced with clean and rubbish removed. What makes the place amazing is the staff. Friendly and chatty, it’s a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast is delicious and the breakfast staff are so helpful and pleasant. This is my second stay and I’ve booked a third. Co-op and Greggs a 2 minute walk one way and restaurants and The Lowry a few minutes the other.

Nice but very very warm!

The hotel is in a good location, I had a great view from my room. The staff at check in were great, very helpful. I’ve marked my review down as the room was so hot that it was uncomfortable . The heating controls were very old and didn’t do much! The parking was expensive at £24 for less that 24 hours

A great position on the putskirts in Media City. Serviced well by trams. The trams took us to victoria and the AO arena and got us back at 11 :30 pm. No issues. Food accomodation excellent.

Nice location clean hotel. But bed was so uncomfortable, mattress bowed in the middle. Green light in bathroom glowed all night and kept us awake. Noisy external doors randomly scare the life out of you

The Media City is relatively new and the whole area is well designed, impressive and well kept. Convenient for Old Trafford.
