South Mission Beach To Bay Retreat

Look no further! This 3 story beach and bayside retreat has it all. Smell the ocean air from the large patio as you sip your morning coffee or evening cocktail. A memorable destination for friends or family that will keep you coming back for more


This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom delightful property is located in a premier location of South Mission Beach just 2 blocks from the jetty. With so much to offer, you and the guests are located near San Diego’s best beach attractions and activities (Belmont Park, restaurants, volleyball, surfing, sailing, biking and fireworks).

The floorplan is described as follows:

Bottom Floor: There are 2 bedrooms on this level, one with a queen bed and one with a cal-king bed (both Tuft N' Needle). One bedroom has French doors leading to the outside patio. 1 Bathroom connects the bedrooms (Jack and Jill style) and the hallway has an additional closet.

Separately, the 2 car garage is located on the south side of the property which includes laundry facilities and additional storage. For your entertainment, beach equipment and bikes are located in the garage.

Middle Floor: This open and airy level has a living room with expansive picture windows and cathedral ceiling, 75" 4K UHD TV, Cable, Blu-Ray DVD, fireplace, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen and separate powder room. The living room and kitchen is connected with a common balcony that allows for ocean breezes.

Top Floor: The loft-style master suite includes 2 Tuft N' Needle queen beds, a bathroom with 2 sinks, closet, skylight and balcony.

Note: Comic-Con week fills quickly! Please also ask us about our monthly corporate and longer term rentals during the fall, winter and spring seasons.

We had an awesome time staying in Mission Beach! The house was in a great location and had all necessities for a perfect beach vacation. House is the perfect place for a family vacation as we lived on the beach the whole time. Beaches are a block away and way less crowded then other areas we saw, but walking distance to Belmont Park if you want to get in the crowds. Would definitely stay again.

Our family of four and two dogs loved this place! Such a great space and walkable to both beach and bay. The place was so clean and we really appreciated the thoughtful details like toothbrush holders and nightlights in the bathrooms. The owner was so quick to respond to messages and checkin was a breeze. The beds were super comfy with really soft sheets and the huge TV was clutch to watch baseball playoffs. We used the bikes and beach chairs almost every day and my son had fun with the football. Everything we needed was right there, it was perfect! Our Nissan Pathfinder fit in the garage just fine. Just a 10 min walk to a couple of coffee shops and a 10 min drive to Dog Beach. So much fun, we will definitely stay here again!

Family Getaway

Had wonderful time and house had everything we needed and more. Great location and bikes were a plus. Only drawback was parking situation, definitely not getting 2 cars in the garage with all the bicycles in there and good luck finding a parking spot no matter the time of day for a 2nd vehicle.

Seaside stay

This is a beautiful home, Located one block away from the beach. The local beach is very family friendly. Parking can be tough, this is a very congested area with lots of travelers. The home does have a garage to park in, but if you drive a full size SUV, it will not fit in the garage. The property has some beach, chairs, umbrellas, and other cool toys to enjoy.

Family Staycation

We enjoyed every minute at this home! Very comfortable and clean. So close to the beach and bay. Great outdoor patio for grilling and morning coffee. The beds are so comfy. A big dining room table is perfect for meals and games. We’re a big games family. Bikes, chairs, umbrella’s, boogie boards etc. were all available and we were so grateful they were provided. We grew up in the area and have since moved inland so it was so nice to go to old haunts on the bikes. Sunrise over the bay and sunset over the ocean made for beautiful photos. An altogether delightful beach house, we wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks so much to Bradley for the perfect weekend getaway.

We rented Bradley’s beautiful home for my son’s graduation and were pleasantly surprised at how perfect the location was and beautiful the home was. Bikes were definitely a perk that we were so appreciative to have and the bbq and patio was perfect to celebrate with the family. We would absolutely stay again!!

Beautiful Home away from Home

We had an amazing time, and staying in a home like this during our vacation made it all the better! The house was clean when we arrived, and had all the necessities we needed! The beds were comfortable, towels were nice, the kitchen supplied all the things we needed. There was more than enough space and we loved spending time on the different outdoor spaces. We loved having access to a garage and washer/dryer, the bikes and beach items provided were great. I will say, we were expecting beach chairs and not camping chairs, so we maybe would have brought our own had we known that- that is just our preference :) Thank you, Brad for being a great and easy to talk to host! We hope to stay again one day!

Family-friendly beach house

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Mission Beach! It was a prime location with great beach access. We were not actually here for the beach but rather a great spot in San Diego, and this place was perfect for that, too! Easy drive to Carlsbad and also to downtown San Diego. Great for our large family! Thank you for the hospitality! Parking can be a little tricky. The city was working on the roads during our stay so the garage could not be accessed. Fortunately there was a free lot within a short walking distance. We would definitely return! The host was very helpful and responsive.
