Nice house on the outskirts of the “heart” of historic Sanford. House was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a weekend stay for a baseball tournament.

A True Haven

Our stay at Sanford’s Haven was absolutely wonderful. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Everything felt comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to settle in and relax right away. I loved the decor - the hosts added music touches which is so appropriate for the Sanford area because i actually went there to see a band i love. The Tom Petty Portrait was amazing. (personal fav) The location was fantastic — convenient to downtown Sanford, restaurants, and local attractions, yet still peaceful and quiet. I just can't believe how charming the space is from the beautiful sun room to the forth porch where you can enjoy breakfast or a coffee. My kids loved hot cocoa on the porch swing. If you are traveling with kids, it is a perfect spot the host provided some fun backyard games and there is a privacy fence in the yard so they can safely play. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. They were responsive, helpful, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I can't tell you how cozy this house is. My family can't wait to go back. I am not normally a long review person - but this house just had such warmth and wonder I had to share. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Sanford’s Haven to anyone visiting the area. (ps kids park is in walking distance with a butterfly garden) The riverwalk was really nice too.
