Book Cheap Hotels in Sanrizuka

"The hotel is bland, dated, and has ridiculous fees. One of the reasons we booked it was because at the end of our long journey we wanted to use a pool/hot tub and they have those amenities on site. When we arrived we were informed by one of the male front desk staff (who seemed like he could not care less that we were there) that it was an additional fee to use the amenities that were marketed to us. An additional ¥1,650Adults/¥880Children to even gain access to the pool area. Absolutely ridiculous policy and blatantly false advertising. They have a buffet for breakfast & dinner and with the location of the hotel there are far and few options between. So we tried out the buffet and it was ¥6000/person (~$80) which would be fine if they actually had decent food but we were underwhelmed and disappointed. They reused the morning croissants for the “bruschetta” and the food was oddly curated and bland at the same time. For being one of our most expensive meals the entire trip, we were quite annoyed at the lackluster quality and poor selection. The rooms themselves were dated, the TVs were not smart TVs, and the facilities definitely feel like “airport hotel” quality. A really disappointing end to our otherwise wonderful trip."
