Spectacular Views!

When you can have a house with 180 degree views from the ocean to the mountains, it’s amazing. Casita Cole was the perfect house to bring my wife, my oldest son and his future wife. Edgar was the perfect manager showing us everything about the house, getting us beach chairs and yoga mats. Having a small pool was really refreshing in the morning and when you come back from a long day of excursions and at the beach. The house is roomy, kitchen is well equipped and the beds extremely comfortable. Do you need towels?? We counted about 50 towels throughout the house. You’ll definitely have enough. For a quick trip to the grocery store, check out Super Luperon. If you need a larger selection, check out Mega Super in Coco Beach a short drive away.The house is situated in a beautiful, upscale community that is a short drive from most excursions in the Guanacaste region. Edgar recommended La Casita Del Marisco for dinner and he wasn’t wrong. Incredible food. We went 2 nights. Roberto’s is good for drinks and music, but their food doesn’t compare. A great lunch in Playa Coco was at Restaurante Claudio y Gloria. We thought it would be too “touristy” but the whole red snapper was the best we had on our trip. Drinks and service were great. Want to support a great local business? Check out Pura Vida Juice Bar near Hermosa Heights. The guys that seemed to work there everyday were friendly and make some of the best smoothies.

What a wonderful vacation! Pre-trip communication with the property manager was very timely and clear. Property was truly beautiful and extremely comfortable—furniture, beds, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor furniture, WIFI, Roku were all fabulous. Daily check-ins from the property manager contained restaurant and activity recommendations, and daily housekeeping kept everything clean and straightened up. View from the covered patio was breathtaking. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Best View !

My husband and I had a great stay at Casita Cole from Feb1-April 5/2024 . Zindis was good to work with . Our house manager , Edgar is the greatest ! Any little issue we had he was right on it . On a larger issue he was so helpful He checked in with us a number of times to make sure all was going well . The world needs more Edgars ! When we booked the property we didn't know the maid came with the rental . Carmen and Sailyn were great , very friendly and trustworthy . Casita Cole was perfectly located on top of the hill with the best views of Playa Hermosa and the ocean . We spent most of our time in the pool and enjoying the deck . The pool was about 3 feet deep but was always warm enough as it has a heater when it needs it . It was hard to leave the hill ! lol Casita Cole was very spacious and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed . The Casita is a bit dated , has one small TV , a bit small for the space but the beds were comfy, has lots of towels and it had atmosphere .

Lovely property with exceptional view

This house was perfect for our weeklong stay in Costa Rica. It is well stocked with everything we needed for the stay including several home cooked meals. Staff/management are readily available and helpful. The issue mentioned by previous guests about the pool has been resolved; we found it to be the right temperature. Please note that this house is located above the town and walking isn’t really an option. A rental car is best as transfers are expensive.

Beautiful view

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean with the exception of teeny tiny bugs on the kitchen counter. I like to run in the mornings but there was no place to do that. Two very steep entrances and exits and then the main road with no shoulder. So if you are a morning Walker or runner, you will have to look elsewhere. The area is quiet and gated. We went down to coco beach to eat most nights. The infinity pool was absolutely ice cold. Even at 99 degrees out it was difficult to get in it. Would love to have had a skimmer to clean the debris off before getting in. They have people come to clean it but it gets dirty again quickly. Still a great view and a very private area. If you’re trying to get away from the hub bub then this is a good place for you.

perfect getaway

the view is as amazing as it is in the pictures. the house is convenient to everything and after visiting some of the other beaches Playa Hermosa was quiet, great restaurants and friendly and our favorite over Playa Cocoa and Tamarindo. I know one person mentioned the pool was cold and well it was when you first get in but after about 3-5 minutes it was wonderful. A cool drink in your hand in the pool looking over that view watching the sunset was incredible. It was very windy as we learned is normal for February and the windows in the master would rattle but a little bit of cardboard kept the quiet through the night. Waking up to that view of the water is an amazing way to start the day.

Amazing view

We were in Costa Rica for 12 nights and stayed in 3 different locations while there. 2 nights at a thermal resort in Rincon de la Viejo, 7 nights in Tamarindo and we finished our trip with our last 3 nights at Playa Hermosa, and the views were breathtaking.. The house was easy to get to, and a short drive to town for dinners. There were people staying in the main house while we were there, so our pool wasn’t as private as we’d hoped for, but it was a minor inconvenience. We had planned to spend the days at our pool but the sun never hit the water so it was very cold,, we ended up driving to a close beach. If it’s amazing views you’re looking for this is the place, if enjoying the pool is your goal, probably not.

A MUST IN COSTA RICA!

When I tell you this view is unlike anything you have ever seen before, please believe me and book this VRBO right away!! This is truly an incredible place to stay run by an incredible group of people. The place is well kept and very safe as it is in a double gated community. This place is perfect for two couples. Each room has its own A/C and the house stays cool in the hot weather. The pool is so nice! This place was FILLED with every kitchen tool needed and so many towels, so there was never a worry that we would run out or not have the things we needed. The washer and dryer in the unit was perfect and they even had laundry soap for us already. Zindis group is super helpful and they even helped us set up a couples massage in the home! While you are here, I would highly recommend going to Coconutz brewhouse and Playa Penca (a hidden gem!!). We will be back. I couldnt have imagined a better place to stay in costa rica than this one.

The house is very nice and very comfortable. The view is fantastic. It is well equipped as far a cooking utensils go and sufficient towels, sheets, etc. There are a few things that should be addressed to make it a 5 star rating: -The burner-plates on the stove-top are completely rusted, the burners don't fit the plates and therefore sit at an angle, and the oven stopped working while we were there. -There is an ice maker that does not work. -There is a leak in the ceiling above the refrigerator during heavy rains. -There is a need for, at least, a luggage rack in each of the bedrooms; in the master bedroom there is nowhere to put luggage but on the floor. And it would be nice to have a chair or two in the Master bedroom. -The doors and wood work need to be maintained with oils so as not to dry out and create noises when opening and shutting. -The pool never reaches the infinity feature until the pool maintainance person services it, and then it only lasts a very short while. -The Zindis staff while extremely nice and very professional only came by when requested. In our previous experience with VRBO, the house manager stopped by daily to see if there was anything we needed. -It would be helpful if there were a staff member on call Sundays, to at least acknowledge a message received in a timely manner. With all of the above addressed, this could easily be a first rate accommodation. Here's hoping it will be!

The place and views are amazing. I will never forget this place or the memories we made.

We had a really good experience. We woke every morning to breath taking views and relax under a beautiful synset every night. The property managers and owners accommodated our ever need. We are forever grateful.
