We could not get the thermostat below 65 when we went to bed (we like to sleep cool) - upon check out we told the front desk clerk and she said she would look into it. That was our only complaint

2men staying there told me and my two friends they wanted to kill some one and then told us they wanted to kill us. Very odd experience.

The recent renovation of this larger hotel has improved its appeal. The center courtyard is an excellent place to dine and lounge. They offer accommodation to well behaved dogs, and we saw many. The valet / bellhop was rude and I wouldn’t bother using them. It was a surprise that self parking was $23/day. The water in this hotel is terrible! The price tag for $8 Fiji or $5 Desani is further insult. The dining onsite is good and a large comfortable bar area makes dining easy and relaxing. The thin walls couldn’t be helped in the redo as you can hear everything room to room-alarms, tv, conversation, you name it. One interesting feature is the onsite theater for watching movies.

Lobby is nicely renovated. Bathroom not so much. Very slippery surface in tub shower, so much so that I went out and purchased a nonslip tub bathmat. Room lighting is awkward with dimmer switches in difficult to use positions. Some bulbs flickered went dimmed. Bellman and front desk staff very nice as was the small coffee shop staff.

some front desk people ok some s bit snippy I'm not there for a counter person to act like they're doing me a favor i think they could have give me better rooms for a 4 day stay looking over the roof top a/c condensers. didn't work right slow drain in the shower light not working they think they are a 4-star place people smoking weed in the lobby people parking where they like at checking fire alarm getting pulled at 7 am no direction from house staff asks the girl at the movie theater how much was the movie she said she didn't know. What? cleaning with bleach throughout the property stunk to high Heaven. there in a very affluent area but it's no better than a roadside place. And let's not get into parking fees Nickle and dime outfit

Room was adequate but a bit dark (poor lighting). Bed was comfortable but the shower was weak and lukewarm. Finally, it was very noisy with atrium party sounds until at least 11 pm. I would not recommend at that price.
