I had a comfortable night at YEHS Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. And I was within 7 mins walk of everywhere I needed to go. I would stay here again if I was in town for work and mostly out and about.

The location of this hotel is the best thing about it. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly however not all travellers are able to eat absolutely every meal out. There was only minimal supplied in the way of cuterly, plates etc. When we asked for them we received paper plates and wooden throw away cutlery! We even had to ask for face cloths!

The only issue was the noise from a rooftop bar about 2 doors down playing doof doof music til well after midnight was clearly heard, not much sleep. Obviously beyond control of the hotel though which is a shame as one the whole it was a pleasant experience from the lovely room to the always very pleasant staff.

We had a room right near the lift so like all hotels it was noisy. Central heating had been changed to cooling right before a cold front so was freezing. Apart from these things the hotel and room was ok. Convenient near restaurants and transport.

My friend and I shared a twin room, and while it was compact, it was spotless and appointed as you'd expect. Unfortunately the beds were hard as boards! We were booked for 2 nights, but had to leave after one night because of those beds. Staff were apologetic, but offered no solution.

Fantastic welcoming staff. The lounge is a nice added bonus with tea and coffee making facilities and delicious cookies. While the bed was very hard for me it is tricky to please everyone. The location can’t be beaten. Just a short walk from Town Hall station and the airport line, close to Gadagal metro to easily get out of the city, and a walk down George street (or use the light rail) to the Opera House or The Rocks. Would definitely stay again

Great location for an overnight stay before an early flight the next day. Even better that we were welcomed by friendly staff on arrival, shown to our very clean, spacious and comfortable room, and had a great, restful sleep in a good bed with silence. Thank you - we will be back!

In centre of city with shops, transportation, culture & nightlife close by. Room was at rear of property overlooking an access road & looking onto another property. There is a common area to eat or relax but sometimes this was closed off due to meetings. Only way to access this area is via the lift as the corridor was used for left luggage. Staff were helpful & communication prior to stay. Front desk seemed always staffed which was beneficial as arrival was delayed by 15 hours due to cancelled flight.

All you need in a great location

Location was fantastic. Very friendly and professional staff willing to be helpful. Room was basic but had all that was needed They should rotate the mattress to get more even use. Quiet room.
