The staff were nice and friendly, and the breakfast was consistently great. A special mention to the maintenance guy he was exceptionally kind and helpful. However, the overall environment was too crowded, and unfortunately many guest were not friendly. This made our stay uncomfortable especially I was travelling with my wife and our 2 young children, ( ages 5 and 2 ). While I appreciate the presence of security guards to help guest feel safe, it was concerning to see more security personnel than guests at times, it raised some questions about the atmosphere. Additionally, the smell and presentation of some guests detracted from the overall experience and brought down the standard I was hoping for. I’m sorry to say I won’t be returning with my family but I might consider staying again if I’m travelling alone.

I booked two rooms with two queen beds each at this hotel through Expedia well in advance. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation was “not guaranteed” because it was made through a third party (Expedia). Instead, they gave us two rooms with only one queen bed and a sofa bed each, which were uncomfortable and absolutely not what we paid for. I asked to speak with the supervisor or manager, but was told that the manager was not on-site and they didn’t have a contact number for them. This level of service and accountability is completely unacceptable for a hotel under the IHG brand. If you care about getting what you booked and having proper customer service, I would strongly advise against staying at this location.

Worst hotel experience ever. Horrifying front desk behaviour. Front desk staff openly misogynistic and horribly rude. He refused to give me my room and turned me away, said I hadn't paid, said that Expedia is not payment, told me they were full despite prepayment on Expedia, openly rude and utterly disrespectful, and refused to provide civil customer service. Forced to find another hotel at 10:30 at night. I am a 55 year old woman, alone, had to witness an assault a few feet from my vehicle in the parking lot, open drug use and alcohol use in the parking lot. Called my husband to come from several hours away, as I had to attend a business meeting in the morning, so tried again to resolve the situation and again, blatantly rude to me, lied to our faces that they were full and that I hadn't paid. When we challenged this insane assertion, the front desk staff again refused to do anything to solve this. Received a 'check out' notice in the morning to add insult to injury. (We were forced to stay at another hotel) Following up with IHG Ethics and Customer Service. Very unsafe, disgusting and demeaning customer treatment. Expedia needs to be aware that front desk staff claim that Expedia is not actually paying them and refusing to fulfill paid reservations, hoping for some sort of action.

I already see that I will be back here. My family and I totally enjoyed out stay there. The staff were very very helpful and accommodating. The food was good and they had non-pork option which was great for me. I just wished the sauna was avaliable during my stay. P.S they had alot of parking avaliable. Thank you again. Holiday inn.

Staff were the issue with our stay. I paid with my credit card upon arrival. We then went to our room and our kids wanted to go in their pool. We did and had about 6 missed calls in the span of 30 mins and the concierge banging on our door saying our payment did not go through. I showed them our credit card pending charge and that didn’t suffice so they wanted to rerun my card - which they did since they said it was an ongoing issue they were having. I said if it’s an ongoing issue, why was this not corrected. They had no answer. Anyways they were horrible customer service. Put 2 holds on my credit card including 2 deposits. Would not recommend staying here simply due to poor staff service. We stayed as a large group for a hockey tournament (15+ rooms) and over half of us had issues with them. Would not return. Lots of other options in the area.
