Mount Hood Retreat is quietly nestled in the trees in Welches, Oregon and just minutes away from numerous recreational activities. The home features a beautiful vaulted, two-story entry with stone fireplace and lots of natural light beaming through the floor to ceiling windows in the great room.

The fully stocked kitchen has a variety of utensils, serving pieces, baking and cookware for an exceptional dine in-home experience. The outdoor BBQ has been refurbished in like new condition.

This home has four bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a loft bedroom. The main floor suite has a queen bed. The upper floor has three bedrooms: King with trundle twin daybed, twin beds with balcony, twin XL beds. The upper floor loft bedroom has a private balcony, with queen futon and futon chair.

There is a ping pong table, foos ball table , games, puzzles and books, providing several excellent indoor activities for you and your loved ones.

This remarkable property has a gorgeous and expansive deck with hot tub and partial view of Huckleberry Mountain and surrounded with mature trees. As part of the Resort Homeowners Association, you as a guest will have access to the year-round pool & tennis courts.

The Resort Spa is nearby and offers high-end massage packages, and a work out room for a nominal fee.

Property was clean as and advertised. Neighborhood was quiet. Great for families with many different sleeping options and a fully functional kitchen. Convenient location for events at Mt Hood Meadows. The only negative I could come up with is it could’ve used some games to go with the PS3. There is a large VHS and DVD collection.

Trail to the stream is nice.hot tub was enjoyed by all.Ping pong table was used by the kids.Propane tanks were at low levels but replaced the following morning.Kitchen sink waste disposal was not working. I pushed reset buttons turned the machine with the wrench. I called property management lady the first evening. Told her it could wait until we left. This should have been taken care of morning we arrived.Overall stay was enjoyed. We have annual short vacay with the family (10 of us).

Mt Hood retreat

House is beautifully located and was very spacious! We had a family of 8 and it was comfortable with plenty of space to move around. Kitchen table wasn't big enough for us all so one person sat at the peninsula. The appliances are a bit old and could really use a replacement soon.

Great Location

Our extended family had a wonderful weekend getaway for skiing and snowboarding at Mt Hood. The home was very clean, well stocked and conveniently located. The access to a pool and the hot tub at the house were great hits, especially after a day outdoors. We would definitely return.

Wonderful time!

We had a wonderful reunion with college friends and our little ones. We went swimming in the pool in the mornings and played by the river every afternoon. We grilled most nights and the house was perfect. The rooms upstairs had a major issue with the AC but other than that all worked out well!

Entertaining and relaxing

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay, but main downstairs bed was certainly not a king as described. Bedroom tv only had limited channels. Main tv had 4 remotes with complicated instructions. Televisions were never used. The mattress and televisions were small inconveniences and didn’t affect our overall stay, I’m just informing other travelers. The indoor and outdoor spaces were entertaining and relaxing in a quiet convenient location. I was not sure where to drop off keys before office hrs, so I put them in the box where I picked them up. Other offices have a clearly-marked drop-off for this purpose, so check-out instructions should be clarified for those that need to check out early.

Great Ski Trip

The house was clean and had all of the amenities one could want. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the desired appliances were available. The hot tub was in perfect order and heated when we arrived. Check in and check out was painless. Proximity to restaurants and the mountain was perfect. We had a great time!

A lovely 4 bedroom

Really great house! Very clean. Hot tub was great to have. Big family room was the highlight! It's well laid out, and the living room/deck has views of the forest and Huckleberry Mountain out the back. Kitchen was mostly stocked and everything worked even though the range/oven is a bit old. Would consider this a 4 bedroom, not 5, because one of the "bedrooms" faces the living room, has no door or privacy and has a fold-out couch. But this was fine with our 4-person group.

A great property with room for 9 adults, an incredible deck and a hot tub that was clean and functioning well. The toilets have flushing issues and the oven broke, so there are some small things to remedy. But it was a great stay!

great shady location overall comfy stay!

Nice open concept on main floor with high vaulted ceiling and two story windows to view the outdoors and deck. The location was less than 5 minutes from the grocery store, which was great since we did a lot of cooking. Kitchen was nice and roomy, we did not want for any utensils or pots and pans as was fully stocked, It even had a crockpot (i forgot mine so that was a saver). The bed I slept on was very comfy and everyone else seemed content with there sleeping quarters. The Management company was very nice and helpful. Also, Just minutes away was the club house with the pool and tennis courts for our use. People very nice at club house, pool and tennis courts well maintained. We really were excited about the ping pong table in the garage as we are big fans so that was super fun. But one suggestion you might want to have the management company check the ping pong balls to make sure they are not flat or cracked etc . We did not contact the management company with regards to the balls but im sure they would have got us some new ones (we let them know upon departure though. All in all we had a very relaxing stay.

Convenient Close to the Mt

The first floor has a great layout for family and friends to eat and still interact with each other while in the living room. Hot tub use was easy. Lots of rooms on the second floor. The windows provide lots of light during the day time and you can see the snow falling onto the patio. It's a beautiful stay.
