Peaceful desert ranch house retreat set on 2+ boulder filled acres overlooking the valley.

The home boasts stunning views, a covered patio, shade trees, exposed beams, Spanish tile & a warm open floor plan that is perfect for groups.

This 3bd/2ba is located just enough away to feel remote and yet close enough to all the desert attractions.

Minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, Pioneertown, Pappy & Harriet's, La Copine, Integratron & Hawks Landing Golf course.

The home has three clean and minimally-decorated bedrooms that all get pleasant light.

The living room has comfortable custom seating, blankets, and a game library. Take a game and some drinks over to the large wooden dining room table and look out over the valley.

The kitchen is stocked with what you need to make coffee and cook.

The sliding glass doors off of the kitchen lead to a covered patio, BBQ grill, fire pit, and picnic table under a shade tree, perfect for taking in the desert air any time of day. Take a stroll up the private boulder-filled hill for sunset for a glass of wine and game of bocce.

The garage is a great place to play darts, classic arcade games, cornhole and music while not disturbing your other guests. There's a mini-fridge for your convenience.

The doggy-door in the dining room leads to a fenced-off dog run.

Extra Special!

We had a wonderful stay with family members coming and going through out the week. The layout was perfect! One group could be playing games in the garage/game room, while another group cozied up to watch Netflix in the living room. We had three dogs at one point and they enjoyed the space inside as well as outside. We found lots to do with art, vintage shopping and good food nearby.

Great Yucca Valley house

Very nice house in a quiet location but close to Joshua Tree park. Plenty of outdoor space to wander around and lots of facilities including outdoor grill, hammocks, and more. Games room was a great addition.

Great hi desert get away

This place is such a gem. Clean, spacious, and fun! We stayed for a quick getaway and had such a great time. We didn’t leave the rental! We felt like we had our own oasis but it was still close to anything we needed. Highly recommend

Exactly like the photos!

This place is beautiful and has everything you need. My friends and I stayed for 2 nights and we didn't get a chance to experience ALL this house has to offer. The hot tub was big. The hammocks were cool. The bedrooms were so beautiful. A little too firm of a mattress for me. But the front couch was comfy. BEST PART: owner messaged us right away when we had questions.

One for the books

I spent my birthday weekend in this home and it was the perfect place to get away with close friends and loved ones. The only con is that the kitchen does need updating if you plan on cooking for the majority of the weekend. The park was only 10-15 min away from the house and really is a beautiful retreat. definitely will be coming back!

Spacious and Comfortable

First and foremost, Tiger was above and beyond helpful and communicative. Plenty of room for all of us. There was even a huge garage room with games which we did not use at all but I imagine would be super helpful as a space during bad weather or for kids. The living room and dining room are split with a strange wall which makes hanging out all together a bit weird. We moved the bean bags and chairs into extra space between dining room and sliding glass door to improve the feng shui. Wish there was a proper couch in that space, it would be a great improvement. The hot tub dropped to 95 degrees on our first night which got us bummed, but the next morning someone came to clean it and that night it hovered around 102 which was a welcome improvement! Wish it was hotter though. I think the pans need to be replaced as they are misshaped and there’s no non stick on them at all. All in all we had a great time. We only had 5 adults so if you had the full 8 persons allowed this would be an even greater deal for you.

Amazing Joshua Tree getaway

This bright airy house was perfect for a small family trip. Nice location close to Joshua Tree for day trips. We had breakfast every morning outside on the hilltop "terrace". The kids (and adults) enjoyed evenings playing arcade games and sitting in the hot tub.

Host was helpful and provided thorough instructions. House was setup well with all necessary items. Kitchen stuff could use an upgrade, but we made it work. Would recommend for a group of adults looking to get some space.

Magical desert getaway

What a cool spot! The location, decor and all around vibes of this spot were great! The garage has an awesome jam spot with guitar, bass and amp. All the bedrooms were very nice with cool desert art. I especially liked the personalized Spotify playlists that have been created specifically for this space. Getting out of the city and soaking in the hot tub with the thousands of stars and no light pollution was truly enjoyable. If you are thinking about booking this spot I would say go for it! 10/10 Also communicating with the host was very easy.

Desert Ranch

A great headquarters for exploring Joshua Tree National Park and meeting up with family! We loved everything about Cactus Cooler Ranch! Our son loved the game room, our daughter-the great sounding guitar, relaxing in the hot tub watching for shooting stars, a well stocked kitchen, the hammock on the patio. Conversation with Tiger was a pleasure!
