"Mixed review. Staff was friendly. Beach nice. Don’t recommend the club floor. The food was gross. Industrial eggs. The cheapest pastries you’ve ever seen. The same flavorless fruit every day. Cheap cold cuts and cheese. Only sugary yogurt. Wine cheap but somewhat drinkable. The room was nice, however. Decent bed and pillows. Even though they clearly have zero interest in approaching a five star hotel, they had nice bathrobes, although you may need to request them. After flushing the toilet, sometimes it wouldn’t stop and sounded like a freight train in your wall all night long. We asked for it to be fixed, but it never was. I suspect maybe it can’t be. A lot of nickel and diming. Charges for everything - even extra salad dressing. Some food was very good - burgers and fish tacos excellent. I wouldn’t consider the chicken fingers. French fries undercooked always, no matter what you ask. Drinks mixed. Decent pina coladas. Poor mojitos. One thing to note is that they rent pool/beach chairs to cruise people. There were a lot of them and not enough chairs. Some tried to take ours by removing our considerable things while we were eating lunch. Again, the staff was friendly and did their best under constraints."

"I just returned from 5 days at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve. It was a nice stay. The location worked well for being about a half an hour from the airport and just 15 minutes from the rainforest in Fajardo. The grounds are beautiful and there’s a golf course there. The Puerto Rico open was happening while we were there. Surprisingly, that didn’t affect our stay at all. I loved how secluded this resort is. Unlike other places, I’ve stayed on the island, there were no stray dogs hanging around, which was good because that always pulls at my heart string seeing those. There’s a decent beach and a beautiful pool. We had a room over overlooking the ocean, which was really great. It had a very large balcony which we spent a lot of time lounging on. The staff was really nice and friendly. The one complaint we had was that one night there was a large group of rowdy guys that acted like they were having a frat party out in front of the condo around the fire. They blasted music from 1to 3 AM and were extremely loud and obnoxious. Folks in our building, were all yelling over the balconies asking them to quit it because people were trying to sleep. We had called down to the front desk to ask them to go take care of the situation because nobody in our building was able to sleep with this ruckus going on. No one showed up to get them to pack up their party for at least a half an hour. We were shocked at how long they allowed this to go on. It was really unfortunate. "

"They are using an energy generator during the night, with the excuse that there is no electricity during that period. My room was shaking from the generator noise, and the diesel fumes were entering the room. I left the room that same day. "

"The rooms are outdated it gives motel vibes, and for a huge resort to not have an area to eat is a little insane. Also only two vending machines in the entire building and they both didn’t work, when i asked The front desk about it or where i can go to purchase a soda etc he said no where or outside the resort. Granted i dont Think he was front desk i think He was covering but still."
