It took so long to check in . We were there around 9:00 am and was told that we will be able to check in around 3:30. However we were checked in around 4:30 pm. staff members were not friendly at all. The toilet kept leaking water, the shower water was cold , and TV was not working, the bed sheet seems not newly washed.

I was charged teice because i accidentally thought i was confirming my reservation but instead created a new reservation. I called expedia and kept getting a run around on the phone with NO positive results. As a longtime customer with Expedia I am 100% disappointed. I need my account to be credited back, I was charged TWICE.

Canario Boutique Hotel is a hidden gem. Close to everything needed. My only complaint was the Wi-Fi and their television, which did not work. My first stay was pleasant with TV, but this time the television was changed with a remote that did not work at all. I disgrace. I will be staying at Canario again.

Good price for value. Location superb. I didn't mind small rooms, but you don't want it on the first floor given morning noise. Very slow to check in, and no one at check out around noon. Seems understaffed. Had to just leave my key, and sent them a message but got no confirmation which would have been nice.

When we returned from dinner to our room, the floor was covered in water and there were cockroaches crawling on the floor and walls. We called the front desk and their “sister hotel” approximately 10 times and received no response. We also went to the front desk in search of help, and finding it empty walked to the sister hotel to find it not a functioning hotel at all but an active construction site. With no help to be found and our room uninhabitable we were forced to book a room elsewhere for the night. We have requested a refund of our stay, and Canario indicated this needed to be handled through Expedia. Please contact me to arrange refund.
