Service staff was very friendly and accommodating. Property and room was pristine. A few minor recommendations I would make to the rooms is putting a rubber seal under shower door to keep water in, raising the shower wand holder to accommodate taller guests, adjusting/limiting the range of overhead shower for allow for targeted waterfall and door closure. Clocks should be displayed in rooms.

We loved staying at the Ambassade Hotel. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. The location was ideal, quiet, and centrally located for visiting the local sites. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds and amenities and great air conditioning for a few hot days when we visited. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting Amsterdam.

The hotel was located on a beautiful, quiet, nice area that was centrally located to unique shops and bars that you could easily walk to. Every member of the staff that we interacted with was extremely friendly and always super helpful!

My wife and I were dissapointed, we usually stay in five star hotes and the Ambassade came up in our search. Priced below others, we selected the Ambassade based on ratings and the wonderful photographs of their rooms. The photos didn't show the access corridors to get to our room. We upgraded to a canal view and it turned out to be pretty noisy from all the cars and trash trucks on the street immediately in front of the hotel. The staff was outstanding but this certainly is not a five star experience.

Everyone was wonderful! Friendly and very helpful. Hotel is in a lovely neighborhood within walking distance to several different restaurants and shopping. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious! Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was very pretty, right on a quiet canal, nice seating outside where you could eat and have drinks. Our room was perfect for my husband and adult son (we had a king bed and twin bed). Very much enjoyed the bartenders and the front desk staff were very accommodating.

very nice smelling soap & shampoo/conditioner & lotion. also, the room came with comfortable, clean (disposable) slippers. nice thick towels, and wonderful lighting in the bathroom & main room. lovely little seating area on the lobby floor, with nice drawings and paintings on the wall. seems all details were accounted for. also, the hotel concierge team were helpful and crisply professional while also being friendly. my wife & i found the whole experience entirely pleasant. absolute silence & cleanliness in the room. wonderfully light feather down duvets that were warm & comfy. Everything amazing except the breakfast. On Sunday we request a crepe and the waitress tell us that no more available. When I talk with the Restaurant manager (Stuart) his behavior was zero empathic, with sarcastic smile tell me that they had very busy day. It's very sad because all personal was tremendous kind.

Canal hotel

Great location, along one of the many canals of Amsterdam. Shops restaurants and sightseeing within walking distance, 20-25 minute car ride to the airport. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The restaurant and bar also quite good.
